The soundproofing in the room needs to be improved. You can hear your neighbors talking and outside noises.
Very nice hotel located 10 minutes walk from the cathedral. The staff is very welcoming and professional. Please book your parking space as Chartres doesn't give away its parking spaces... The hotel bar is very nice with a beautiful setting. The only downside is the soundproofing of the rooms overlooking the cathedral for light sleepers, for my part no problem. Overall the hotel is very good with unbeatable value for money. Don't hesitate to book at the Boeuf Couronné for a stay in Chartres.
Ground floor rooms all very good.
Bedroom not so good. Very small, no room for a wardrobe or chest of drawers.
Bathroom inadequate. Tiny, no towel rail, no extractor fan, shower sprayed the floor and walls rayher than the person. Macerator toolet worked, but who wants such a thing.
The welcome and the staff are perfect. The only downside is that a room may not have been renovated yet (Booking reservation).

Overall satisfied with our stay. The hotel is very well located next to the cathedral, with private parking and excellent staff! However, the bathroom was too small with no separate toilet and a small shower tray!
