We love this hotel and would thoroughly recommend it. The location is stunning and the food is excellent - my salad starter was a work of art!

Establishment, very well located, clean and updated with a warm welcome by the manager. Restaurant staff friendly with know-how (professionals) but still lacking a hint of warmth. Breakfast served by a very smiling and helpful person. We will definitely come back.

Restaurant biedt erg lekker eten en ruime keuze. Eerlijke kwalitatieve voeding voor een een prijs. Uitgebreid verzorgd ontbijt. Wij zijn hier al verschillende keren geweest. Vroeger puts kinderen in bare als koppel. Altijd even goed. Now let's go!

Quiet hotel, magnificent view of the Garabit viaduct, excellent food

The site with the Eiffel viaduct is worth seeing. The place is isolated, we would have hoped for suitable walks around without having to take the vehicle again. The restaurant has a very tasty vegan menu. Their breakfast is as cozy as the decor with a notable quality-price ratio. The staff at the restaurant has the profile of a vintage and elegant place. The welcome is provided by the manager at least with a similar personality: essential who masters her subject! The stage is paradoxically simple and elegant. The memory of the moment leaves us with a smile of real satisfaction.

This is the third time we have been there and we are very satisfied with this hotel.

Everything was impeccable! but a breakfast for 13 euros deserves at least squeezed orange juice (real and coffee other than a vending machine) and a smile from the owner would be a plus 😉

One of the best hotels in Cantal!

This is a delightful hotel, well run by helpful, friendly staff. It is in an ideal location, close to major roads. The room was very comfortable, lovely linen and spotlessly clean. The evening meal was wonderful, great food, prepared with imagination and skill. Lovely gardens to sit and enjoy a drink whilst admiring the beautiful countryside. We were only staying for one night, but would be very happy to do far more!

I found that our room was a little cramped, especially in the bathroom, but I know that they are redoing the rooms, this winter it will be the last installment. In terms of the restaurant everything was delicious, and the location of the hotel is very good and as we were lucky enough to have magnificent weather we were able to take full advantage of the swimming pool.

Excellent hotel for a stopover or even longer. We stayed in a suite, seperate lounge, bedroom, walk-in shower room and toilet. Staff very helpful and polite as I don't speak the language.

We have stayed here before and love the setting and location.
I have to say that the welcome was not as good as previously . We had pre booked a room with a lake view and were given one with virtually no view! We asked for this to be changed and it was done after 10 minutes with a lot of muttering in French!!
The other staff were absolutely charming and this helped restore my opinion. The evening meal was delicious.
Lastly - please install air conditioning in the rooms as we have travelled up and down France in the last 3 weeks and it has been essential and all other hotels had it.
Departure process was efficient.

We came for the 2nd time because we liked this hotel so much in September 2022. Nice reception, neat room with all the trimmings. Neat bathroom with nice towels. Lovely swimming pool, nice terrace. The restaurant is fantastic: beautiful view, great food and very hospitable employees. Recommended: go for dinner a little later in the evening, then you can enjoy a magnificently lit viaduct at dusk.

We had reserved a table for 4 people. We called the hotel shortly before arriving to let them know we would be arriving at 8:22 p.m., service being listed as 7-8:15 p.m. They refused to serve us which forced us to come back to St Flour and wasted a lot of time. No offer to fix the situation. This is the first time we have seen a restaurant unable to adapt to being 7 minutes late!

We enjoy staying in this hotel since more than 30 years. The service is smiling and efficient. Rooms are agreable with very nice vew and the food is good
