Very warm welcome in this beautiful hotel. Room and bathroom are very clean. The bedding is of good quality. Good speed WiFi which allows you to work. Excellent service at the restaurant where you can only enjoy yourself (even on a stopover evening). Breakfast served at the table, with a large choice of food respecting the customer's request (formulated the day before). Very nice address, to which I always return with as much pleasure during my visits to the region!

This was our first visit to Hambye. It will definitely not be our last. The food was first rate even though we had to use Google translate!! A fantastic finale to our 8 days in Normandy.

Hotel is located in a very quiet location. The comfort room is spacious. The restaurant is top notch. The welcome is very pleasant. For breakfast, it is not served as a buffet, served at the table but you have a large choice to choose from the day before.

Excellent establishment, ideally located in the Granville, Villedieu les Poêles and Coutances triangle for visiting the area. Everything is impeccable, the welcome, the service, the attentive and very professional staff, the monastic calm room with good bedding and a functional and well-equipped bathroom, all of which is impeccably clean. Good breakfast also with good products and served at the table, a practice becoming very rare which nevertheless is very pleasant. But the best is yet to come: The restoration! Damn it’s good! A magnificent room with white-covered tables (this too is becoming rarer) and the tastiest cuisine. An excellent menu with local products cooked with love and above all knowledge. It was fine, delicious and the icing on the cake, the hot dishes are skillfully presented on plates.... hot! Detail you tell me? Not so much, this is the basics of cooking that many restaurateurs have forgotten. The Abbey proves to us once again that there is no need to frequent “starred” establishments to benefit from very good cuisine and here is an establishment which has not stolen its “Savoureux” des Logis stamp. Go ahead, good people, you will not be disappointed, almost all of the reviews preceding ours attest to this. Congratulations to the whole team.

Everything is perfect !

We came for the restaurant and stayed two nights in total. Our comfort room and the whole hotel have recently been renovated and everything looks fresh and new. The bathroom in particular was clean and spacious, the room itself was okay in size, a standard room would probably have been too small for us. Everything you need in the room, but only what is necessary. We had high expectations for the restaurant (Bib Gourmand) and we really liked it. Two very classic French menus to choose from, both hit the spot. Wine list fits, wine and drink prices really reasonable. Hotel and restaurant have a very good price-performance ratio. The restaurant was also well frequented, many external guests. The hotel is a real family business, where the restaurant and hotel are managed from a single source. Unfortunately, this is also becoming increasingly rare in France and that is why we recommend a detour to this very rural but also remote area.

Very friendly setting extraordinary and delicious meal only downside when it's hot no air conditioning or fan and sleeping with the window open on the side of the road is complicated but the staff is very friendly

Isolated hotel, no telephone….phew it feels good! The owner couple very friendly, smiling and efficient. Madame at the reception and at the service and Monsieur in the kitchen. Varied quality catering, very well prepared and excellent dishes. A very good value for money. You do not know this hotel restaurant in Hambye, take the detour you will not be disappointed!!! I will return to this establishment with my wife in the near future…I highly recommend it.
