Hello, I find that there is a serious lack of warmth in terms of reception. It is cold and impersonal. At breakfast, there is no one to welcome you, to say hello. For a 4 star hotel, I find it disappointing and expensive for the price.
An excellent hotel with very helpful staff. Parking is on site and the tram is only 100m away. Very good breakfast.

I checked "negative" for equipment because the ventilation system in room 7 (225 euros!) was making such a racket that I couldn't sleep at night, the day after I was moved to another room (223); according to comments on sites about your hotel this problem seems to be recurring...

Great staff, nice rooms. But the toilet seat should have been replaced because it is damaged (room 124) and we booked the hotel with a swimming pool and found out at checkin that it costs 30 Euro per day/per couple to use it. This is wrong.
A real haven of peace in the heart of Besancon, close to all amenities. Very quiet, beautiful room and hearty breakfast with local products. All the staff are smiling, pleasant and good advice. We will come back for sure. And the best part is the parking.

The welcoming was not great. It started when the receptionist ask me to pay extra for staying at the hotel. When i asked where to eat i got a list for 10 restaurants and a map to search for them. The restaurant of the hotel was closed, no bar.
Then we got to the room which was dark and very warm. Airco was not working well so we had to open the windows, result we got mosquitos inside. There were no drinks in the room as a welcome, which i find normal for a 4 star hotel. In the whole ceiling there were holes and also in the wall of the bathroom. The breakfast was ok.
Overall we had very bad experience!
Our first room had a clogged water sink in the shower and the replacement romm was tiny and equipped for single use. Any albeit token diacount was ruled out, bc no “reaponsible” persons was available or could be contacted

Stupid concept for a hotel to operate electric car charging stations only from 9am-5pm, especially as you confirmed availability to a guest that just stays for one night.

Very good first experience, hotel well located, very cozy, very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice surprise in terms of the SPA wellness and swimming pool area that was offered to us. We really appreciated having parking for a hotel located in the city center. We just missed the air conditioning being turned off at this time.
The beautiful hotel in the center of Besancon. 10 minutes walk to the magical old town. Service and breakfast very good. Would happily return.

Hotel very well located and met our expectations
Good comfort, location and atmosphere.
It would be good to warn the guests that before 3:00 pm the hotel doors are closed; if they arrive earlier, they will wait outside the hotel.
The markings of the direction in the parking is one way, placed on the cement. If raining, it will not be visible, unless properly explained.
The gym would need a bit of upgrade, there were no mats, no weights.
The price of the rooms is too high compared to the service. I think we pay for the spa but it is not open on Sunday afternoon at noon and on Monday morning only the jacuzzi are available. In addition, on weekends you have to pay extra to have the spa. Breakfast is OK but extremely expensive for what it is. Fortunately, the staff was friendly and accommodating in letting us leave our bag for the day of departure. I don't recommend this hotel any more than Ibis or Mercury which offer the same service for much less money.
First and foremost, we were not satisfied with the hygiene in our sanitary area. The floor in the toilet was not clean.
Beautiful establishment with a very good quality spa. The whole thing is a little expensive with parking but I had a very good stay.

We have stayed in this hotel before and we like the secure parking, convenient location and large rooms. The furnishing style is rather austere and the seating rather uncomfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast is nice but does not cater for allergies and I had to bring my own cereal and bread. The garden facilities are very nice.

The welcome started well but not enough information on the hotel's services: Wifi, SPA, access. Complicated to find your way around the hotel. I arrived late and was surprised to see a man come into my room at 11:00 p.m. (see camera). Please note that my room is locked. I stayed 2 nights and another person came the first morning (a woman this time). It was 11:00 a.m. and it was time for cleaning (why not). When I got home, around 6:00 p.m., another person came into my room, once again the door was locked. In the evening, I go to the SPA and gym, no one at reception or at the SPA. No towel, bathrobe, no indication. Empty cupboards where the towels should have been. I go back to my room to grab a towel from the bathroom. I was only told at the start that the large towels for the SPA are in the wardrobe in my room (something which is not indicated anywhere - even on the leaflet). The delicious news is that on the day of my departure, this Friday morning, a woman (another news that I had not seen) enters my room before 8:00 in the morning, while I am sleeping. Each of these people enter, then leave when they see me. The door is ALWAYS locked. I can't go back to sleep because I'm afraid someone will come in again. I decide to contact the receptionist, a woman who laughs in my face and clearly tells me that it is impossible that 4 or 5 people have entered my room. The conversation deteriorates sharply because it makes me understand that I am lying. So I have no confidence and trust in this hotel. I do not recommend this establishment. I'm still happy not to have been naked in the room when all his people came in without knocking at all hours of the day and night. Besides, I don't know who they are. I would still like to highlight the kindness of a member of staff (a man) who was very helpful and professional, this is not the case for the other members of reception.

customer for a few times now but big disappointment during the last stay. Noise problem from air circulation reported when I arrived at 9:00 p.m. I ask to change rooms. the answer: they are all the same and there is no longer availability in this category. I will report the problem to the manager and you will see tomorrow. the next day when I returned in the evening nothing was done, the room was still noisy. the next day I report the problem again in the morning to the manager who promises to repair or change rooms. in the evening upon returning, the person at reception is not aware if the room is still noisy or not. if this is still the case you would have to upgrade to higher class rooms, but paying the difference (??). never seen. In short, a good hotel which boasts 4 stars for the SPA and compared to the hotel situation in the rest of the city. Management level we are light years away from the 4 stars

Pleasant stay. Quality breakfast but a somewhat high price. Attentive and very professional staff. Faulty lighting on the stairs leading to the upper floors, which could potentially have been the cause of a head-on accident.
Very strange feeling about the hotel. Welcome was ok, the room very cold and not well decorated with an aweful bathroom. A sheet indicating the charges that apply if a towel would be missing at the end of stay or stain on the linen, not 4 star hospitality. It’s all about rules in this hotel which has great potential. The bed was good though. Price quality is not adequate with 120 € far too expensive. 90€ max would be ok.

Disastrous experience, this hotel is to be avoided, I booked 2 nights (at the weekend) with access to the spa for 330€. When I arrived, contactless payment was refused to me even though we are still in 2023, Fortunately for me, I live in Besançon so I was able to go to my home to collect a card but if you live elsewhere it would not have been possible for you to sleep in this hotel. Second point, the room. Very dark and dirty whether it be the bedding, the curtains or the floor, nothing was right, fridge that does not work, leaning mattress, broken toilets, bathroom floor full of products, cold shower and so on, in the room small poster where it is indicated the rates for bathrobe / towel missing or stained (50 € for a bathrobe and 20 € for a towel) however our bathrobes were already torn and one of our towels already stained. I would point out all the same that in a hotel of this type the towels are supposed to be replaced and not washed, especially in the current sanitary circumstances, the air conditioning is also defective so do not count on it to warm you up. Third point, the relaxation area. In 20 years, I've never seen such a dirty spa, I'm just going to list all the problems I encountered there, mandatory shower before entering the relaxation area but no shower on the horizon, except a sensory shower with a strong smell of urine, 3 jacuzzis including one without water and a lot of dirt at the bottom, one half filled with lukewarm water as well as questionable bodily fluids all around, and large white marks that shows that it has not been washed for a long time. A 3rd jacuzzi with water that is not at all transparent and which makes a lot of foam, I specify that the foam implies that the filtration and treatment of the water have not been correctly carried out, or that the contribution of debris is too high, a sauna with a floor full of mold, I specify that I had taken access for the weekend so I went two days in a row and no cleaning was done between the two days. . Very important, just before entering the spa, a sign has been hidden indicating: In accordance with the obligations of the Regional Health Agency following the letter dated February 27, 2020: The hot tub must be emptied after each use. ; Cleaning should be done after each use. So the question I ask myself is why this poster was concealed? The health inspector should take a look at this establishment. In addition, the receptionist refused me access to the spa on Sunday on the pretext that they were closed, even though the site does indicate that it is open by reservation and, I had indeed reserved. Of course, I have all the photo evidence of what I am saying and I would be happy to put it on all the hotel review sites, Google, TripAdvisor, etc.
The heating is limited, I was cold at 4am. I had to put on a fleece. The relaxation area was not ready and cold... Additional cost of €15/pers for weekends and public holidays, but nothing is planned to receive customers, energy savings to the detriment of customers... .. Big disappointment for this spa.
Pleasant hotel with a very decent room and bedding. I recommend a little more joie de vivre to the receptionist! On the other hand, the Spa area is not sufficiently heated.
