The receptionist questioned our support and almost made us pay for meals even though we were on a stopover and only the extras should have been paid for.

We had a great stay at this hotel, with a warm welcome, comfortable and spacious rooms. It was perfect!
Despite mainly wet weather our return visit was most enjoyable. All staff were courteous and helpful, even assisting in sourcing a new cable for my wife’s phone charger. A wide ranging menu made selection each evening straightforward. Thank you for a very positive experience.

Room 53 faults !! Bathroom light not working above sink. Electric plug socket falling out of wall !! Can send photos.Had to ask for more coffee ( not replenished ) . Paper cups unsuitable for hot drinks. My wife burnt her hand !! Food ok in restaurant but could have been warmer and expensive compared with other restaurants in the local area. Limited fresh fruit at breakfast.

Hello, Paying 127 euros for a room, almost twice as much as the Ibis de la Roche sur Yon, whose quality of bedding we know, and having an uncomfortable 140cm wide foldaway wall bed is called making fun of customers. I asked reception if we could have a room with a more comfortable bed and was told that we had booked late: is this a valid reason for us to be given a so-called "comfort" room with a lower quality when its price is the same as the other "comfort" rooms? In addition, the room did not have windows and opened onto the car park. Its air conditioning was noisy and we could hear the neighbours. Needless to say, the stay was anything but pleasant! And I feel like I've been ripped off!

Very poor quality bedding impacts other services
A wonderful experience. Just a few things that could have been added: There was no milk available with the coffee provided in the room. It was impossible to access the restaurant menu without a smartphone as it was on a QR code. Only one bottle of water for two of us. The menu was great for someone wanting a three course meal but more flexibility such as room service would have been useful, especially when, like us, a couple arrives after a long drive and just wants to eat and rest. We would like to plan a future holiday when we can stay at the hotel again en route as it provided a welcome overnight stop where we could fully relax.

We had a good stay here but we left 3 stars for welcome as the ladies at reception were not particularly welcoming and were, if anything, unfriendly. When we checked out the receptionist didn’t ask if we enjoyed our stay or wish us Bon Voyage. In fact she didn’t say goodbye until my husband said it first. Service in the restaurant was very good both nights. The food was excellent and great value but breakfast was not notable, I would have expected better for this level of hotel and the price.
The room was comfortable but the lighting was dim except for the strange blue light above the curtain. Bizarre!
I find that the catering was not up to standard during my stay. Nothing to say about the service and the quality of the room. 8 euros for a glass of bel canto is limited.

Overall, the stay went well. I treated myself to a massage, it was extremely pleasant, very nice service. For dinner, an excellent surprise, especially for the main course, truly magnificent. For the room, the quality of the bedding is disappointing. Access to the shower is perilous, very high step, slippery tiles.

The staff are very professional and friendly and I felt that they are all a credit to your organisation. We thought that they excelled in their duties.
We used the swimming pool which was well maintained, clean and the sun loungers, parasols and chairs are kept in an excellent condition.
My only negative comment is that the night that we ate at the hotel, there was a coach party in the dining room and I don't know if it was because of that, but at 20.00 we ordered the meal and wine and within minutes, the wine arrived, followed by an amuse bouche and before we had time to eat it, the main course arrived. (We had not ordered an entree.) No sooner had we finished the mai course, but the plates were taken away and within five minutes, our dessert arrived..The staff were attentive and polite throughout but before 21.00 we had finished and the room was being prepared for breakfast the next morning. We live in France and are used to a more casual mealtime.
We did however really enjoy our stay and would stop there again if we are in the region.
The hotel is very pleasant, calm, the swimming pool at 30° is appreciable. The spa is very pleasant and the massage service excellent. A real relaxing stopover! And above all the staff is very welcoming and qualified. He is considerate and really "caring" for his customers. We feel the good atmosphere between the staff members, which adds. The terrace room is a real plus: access to the swimming pool, small table and chairs, a little home, a very appreciable private relaxation area. We will definitely go back..

Very good restaurant with friendly service and tasty dishes with a special mention for the prawn tartare. Parking available. Excellent destination for a stopover not far from the A83 or for a longer stay.
The hotel is rated as three star but in my opinion is much more than this. Great rooms, lovely pool area, nice spa and the most amazing restaurant. My only comment would be that the drinks are very expensive compared to other hotels.

Booked 1 night for 3 including 1 teenager from LU 31/7 to MA 1 August (room 51 = mezzanine = up to 5 max possible). Human welcome + Desk at the TOP! Many thanks to the entire Team Rabelais 85200 for their very high quality of service, attentiveness, availability, smile, good humor… (…). Heated outdoor swimming pool, table tennis table (pool cover), deckchairs… Extra outdoor setting! Sauna and sensory shower (interior) also tested = tip top! Room 51 = very large / spacious / ultra comfortable / lounge area + maxi TV / king size bed / 3 single beds on the mezzanine / separate WC / Italian shower. Not tested: the Restaurant Table on Monday evening, nor the PdJ the next day morning (next time!). One thing is sure and certain: now a real address to recommend, knowing that we will come back with the greatest pleasure. Very nice summer for the whole team and excellent business flow.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Logis Le Rabelais. Everything was excellent including the garden area directly from our room, which our dog appreciated too. Service and meals were first class, thank you to all the staff.

Everything was perfect. Reception, accommodation, catering, staff in the hotel, everything. A very nice surprise. The whole establishment is of a very large property. The value for money very well.
The bathroom sink drain did not let the water flow, which meant that the sink was clogged: my toothbrush fell into the disgusting water that was coming up with a mixture of hair + toothpaste... I reported it to reception and the only thing the hostess told me was that I didn't know how to use the sink :-( Breakfast is supposed to be served from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. or 9:45 a.m., more No croissants or chocolatine or brioche, in short, nothing. For the price, no fruit offered, no more scrambled eggs. The waitress even took down the signs to tell us that there were no more. plate either, she put them in drop by drop and as many people were waiting, the plates were taken by storm in a few minutes. The tables were not set either, in short, we felt that we bothered her more than Finally, a small detail but one that is important for the price paid: the waiter in the restaurant at dinner could not explain to us what the Black Forest pavlova was! In view of the price paid and the standard that the hotel wants to give itself, this kind of setback should not happen!
