We were visiting with our dog and we were made extremely welcome. The owner spoke very good English and was very kind and thoughtful.

Wonderful one night stay at hotel Marguerite. The rooms were comfortable and clean with a great view of the castle. The breakfast was good with excellent coffee - as many refills as you want!
Our hosts were really friendly and multilingual. They couldn't have been more helpful, lots of information about what to do and where to eat.
Wish we could have stayed longer.

In short, nothing to complain about apart from the access difficulties linked to the work on the esplanade of the castle (but the manager, very nice, helped us when leaving to load the luggage into the car parked in a double row)

We recently stayed at the Hotel Marguerite d'Anjou, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel’s location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy all the nearby attractions.

What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service we received, especially from Sammy. He was genuinely kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His warmth and caring attitude made us feel right at home, and it truly enhanced our stay.

Overall, the Hotel Marguerite d'Anjou provided a great experience, and we can’t thank Sammy enough for his hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to return in the future!

The Manager of the hotel is a person who cares about the well-being of his guests whom he calls by their last name, a very familiar atmosphere. There was construction at the door of the hotel but with a call they gave me all the instructions to park in a parking lot next to the hotel and free of charge. They informed me at all times of the inconveniences that the work was going to cause and what time they would start without wanting to hide any information. a great professional. I will return next year I hope, to enjoy the green area when it is finished

We stayed one night and the receptionist welcomed us with professionalism and a lot of thoughtfulness, a great sense of service and availability.

This was our second stay at Logis Hotel Marguerite d'Anjou. The location really could not be better with a car park outside the front door and right beside the Castle/Chateaux. Restaurants and bars are a short and pleasant walk through the old town. The views over the river (less than a minute away) are stunning. There is a small bar with great local beer. The hotel staff were fantastic and spoke excellent English which is always very welcome with our limited French. We will be back and would love to stay longer with you next time. Thank you.

This is a small family run hotel, right in the heart of Angers. Great location literally right next to the castle! Very friendly and helpful owner. Definitely recommended for short stays.

I found my favorite hotel in Angers, a city in which I regularly stay as part of my professional activity.

We greatly appreciated the welcome and the quality of cleanliness of the rooms. The owner had put the rooms next to each other so that it was more practical at the organizational level. We also appreciated the great calm which is exceptional because we are in the city center We woke up around 9:30 a.m. The bedding was very comfortable. We had 2 small bottles of water and an Angers specialty in our room.

Charming hotel in the city center ideal for visiting. Paid parking in front of the hotel but the owner showed us where to park for free. Very warm welcome from the 2 owners. We took a premium room on the 2nd floor, quiet on the courtyard side. Just a small downside on the brown carpet in the room! A plus: the radiator in the bathroom (in October it’s nice)

We stayed at the Hotel Marguerite D'Anjou in Angers. The hotel reception is situated in the cafe on the ground floor and the two gentlemen who work there both spoke excellent English and gave us a warm welcome. The room was very clean and a Juliette balcony afforded us a wonderful view of the Cateau directly opposite. The cafe downstairs is very cozy and welcoming and we are glad that we decided to go for the option of breakfast as it was very good indeed. There is a small car park opposite the hotel where you will need to pay during the day but there is also a large free car park within a 10 minute walk which the reception will give you very concise directions to. The Hotel is well placed with the Chateau opposite and the main square with many bars and restaurants about a 7 minute walk away. Angers is a nice town that we would like to explore further and when we come back we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

This is a basic, no frills hotel. If you want luxury then this is not the place for you. However it is pristinely clean, the bed is fresh and comfortable and the welcome is very friendly and helpful. Right opposite the château and adjacent to the tourist information centre with easy parking nearby. Excellent value for an overnight stay

A home ideally located (at the foot of the castle, 10 min walk from the train station). Great welcome. The room is well decorated, modern equipment. One downside: the noise. The doors are poorly insulated and the corridors very noisy. The cleaning is done well on arrival but if you stay a few days, it is very brief. The PDJ is good but expensive.

The room was nice, but I would have preferred the view of the castle rather than the internal courtyard, but in any case the location is excellent in the center in front of the castle and close to everything there is to visit including the shopping area. The truly unusual luggage lift! The only horrible thing was finding the dirty toilet from previous customers it's not one to get over it!

Very good location, and very pleasant and attentive staff. Cleanliness to be reviewed (the water drained badly in the sink, the stopper was full of hair and accumulated soap-dirt). Bed a little soft but fluffy, tired pillows. Expensive breakfast (the price of a buffet) for what it is: 1 piece of bread, 1 croissant, 1 fruit juice (not freshly squeezed, rather industrial type) and unlimited hot drinks.

This hotel is sensationally good. Reception, care and service are just as good as written on the other reviews. We were warmly welcomed, and they noticed the little things that were important to us. But the real sensation was the solution to a problem: I had a mishap with my glasses and the hotel was incredibly helpful. You just didn't give up until the problem was solved, even though it wasn't easy and took time. Very kind, thank you!
