Very good location and very comfortable hotel. Excellent bedding, quiet rooms. Staff a little cold and distant. Only the young man who greeted us on arrival was smiling and friendly. Regarding breakfast, no more pastries on our arrival (late, certainly, but within the planned time slot). It is a shame that the offer is not sized according to the number of customers! Departure time 11 a.m., without discussion ... a little strict. We did not test the restaurant which has a very beautiful setting, facing the ocean.

Regular customer. Disappointed by the very small room and bad smell, bad washroom drainage, and door that did not close. I asked the reception to always give me the same room for the next visits. Internet connection impossible. Very good stopover meal, very good server reception, a receptionist who was not very helpful and busy who did not give us any help with the internet connection.

The price of the room changes every day (I stayed 6 nights) some nights are really too expensive: very small room, kettle and low-end instant coffee pods, very regrettable absence of refrigerator even very small. On the other hand a large very pleasant terrace with partial view on the ocean but south and west, perfect cleanliness and extreme kindness of all the staff who are very attentive. Note a welcome and useful fan. The location of the hotel is exceptional. I can not rate the cuisine because I only chose seafood but excellent.

Welcome, service, TOP quality catering

If the site is clear that the rooms do not overlook the sea, it is good to know that they overlook the parking lot. The problem is less the view than the noise as a result. Small room and no "cosy" space in the common areas. Not mean team but who have neither the sense of service nor that of hospitality. To recommend for one night if you leave early in the morning: swimming in the ocean with dinner and breakfast offering an extraordinary view. To avoid if it is a question of staying several days and nights.

Terrace of room #209 was dirty. Average breakfast, because little choice, no Breton specialty (crepe). When we arrived ahead of the availability of the room, we were offered fresh water in the living room, without asking. Very friendly and efficient table service, no fuss.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, the staff provides fast and efficient service. Very good bedding and always ultra clean room. The free parking at the foot of the hotel is a plus (even if people leaving the restaurant in the evening can be quite noisy and therefore disturbing for sleepers with the window being at the same level, perhaps an awareness poster or even a little note to customers when they pay could help). The rooms on the ground floor without curtains, or opaque or granite window in the bathroom are quite astonishing. As for the curtain in the room, if it covers half of the balcony window, that's saying a lot. Suffice to say that when you are alone in your room and the only way to get air safely, you live in complete darkness for 5 days. And I still had to leave the bathroom window closed since the shutter can be easily lifted from the outside. Unless I'm mistaken, I didn't see a system for blocking the device. I did not feel completely safe during my stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and delicious dinner on the the terrace at Les Mouettes. The location is fabulous. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and we look forward to returning in the future.

The only disappointment comes from the restaurant. Expensive for classic dishes. And very disappointed by my dessert (Rhubarb Delight) which had no taste. The sweet treats offered with the gourmet coffee are very good and locally inspired. Why not offer a plate without necessarily having coffee?

No proper lounge area. Bedrooms with sloping roofs impractical unless you are very short. Very heavy door to bathroom difficult to negotiate. In the shower cubicle door seal faulty result small flood in bathroom floor, also standpipe holding shower head is leaking.

Everything is put together for a magnificent stay in this hotel on a human scale, exceptionally well located by the sea. The team takes great care, the table is up to standard. The budget is of course high, but it is justified for a preserved location and quality service. I recommend.

Arriving at the reception to be told that no room available for two separate beds whereas there were rooms on booking. We made reservation on booking for a room with two single beds. Reception told us we must wait for maid to have two separate beds if we want to stay ! We said yes we want to stay. We asked the receptionist if she was interested to sell a room obviously not !

Very disappointing breakfast. 18 euros with undefrosted bread. No chocolate rolls from 8:45 a.m. 2 kinds of jam: strawberries or apricot!! No unsalted butter.

I have already used many other establishments with the same services but more around 120 euros!!! I know it's school holidays but we must not overdo it for those who work during these periods!!!

2 downsides: 1-The cleanliness of the dishes! At breakfast the handle of my cup was sticky and the first 3 small plates I took from the pile were really bad! 2- At the evening meal I was offered the stage menu (but without the "stage" price because I hadn't booked, of course!) but without presenting me the price! surprise at the bill! For the rest, very good despite the lousy weather! Nickel room, excellent meal and very good welcome!

Arrival in a very cold room with the obligation to keep your coat on to wait for the radiator to heat up. Room under slope not indicated which is annoying for a person of 1m95. In the morning woken up by the sounds of drills and construction. It's a shame because the hotel is very well located and very clean!

Notre chambre et salle de bain étaient propres, nous avons apprécié la bouilloire à dispo mais regretté le manque de place pour ranger nos affaires.
Il y a une amélioration possible quant à la vérification des dates de péremption sur certains produits du buffet petit-déjeuner, ainsi que dans la procédure d'accueil et de check-out, qui se fait derrière une vitre : absence de contact visuel, pas de dispense d'informations générales et obligation de se justifier que la réservation était déjà réglée. Mais nous reviendrons !

The very changeable weather at the seaside is an asset, you just need to find shelter when a squall arrives, which is what we had the chance to practice during this holiday weekend. Only drawback, the bedroom on the second floor is only accessible by stairs, not easy with my leg failing during this stay, but that was not planned, next time I will ask for a more accessible room. A customer of Les Mouettes for many years, I reported that there was no hot water to take a shower that same evening and the next day. Response from reception, a technician must do what is necessary during the day without even a word of apology for the inconvenience. A little surprising though!!!!!!!!!!

Hotel directly on the beach. Very good meals but breakfast a bit expensive (17€). We could hope for a small hot crepe and more for this price. Good bedding but duvet too warm for summer. Very good restaurant but long service for the aperitif on the terrace (we preferred to wait with a drink in front of us 😉).

On arrival: the receptionist goes to see if the room is ready: (it is 4:15 p.m.) away for about ten minutes.. phew she is available. We are informed that there is no room service for breakfast which is not indicated in the ad, so we will have to get up to go there .. Then impossible to adjust the TV, there has a telephone, but what number to call the reception???In fact all these indications are on a QR code fixed to the door of the room. ( well I imagine it) because as I don't have an iphone equipped to capture the information of the QR code... .. I find it "a pity" to remain correct that we don't think that everyone n is not at the forefront of all communication technologies and that there are not all the details on the hotel announcements...

The site of the hotel is very beautiful but the establishment is not up to it. This is not a fine dining restaurant except for the price. Our room was ok but housekeeping is very superficial. The staff is very pleasant and very attentive.

We were so delighted with our stay in this establishment, that we have already rented for a new stay in June. Nothing to say about the staff, all equally charming and caring for each other. We particularly appreciated the humor of Jérome our server for our wedding meal, despite a somewhat long wait between the starters and the main course, for which he was not responsible.

Hotel very well located, very good reception, excellent breakfast. Negatives: no elevator, room a little small and attic (I hit my forehead on my way to bed) and damaged shower head.

We were in room no. 2, with its pleasant little terrace. Just a small flat on the suction of the floor (forgotten?). Very good restaurant with friendly and efficient service. Breakfast with quality products. The location of the hotel is a definite plus. We successfully tested casting our smartphone to the TV to watch Prime Video. Three repairs are needed in bedroom 2: curtain rod to be reattached, faulty sink light and large leaking shower head.

Shower broken despite my report The next day we returned to our room around 4:30 p.m. and the room had not been redone the staff still had 5 rooms before making our room so we asked for terry towels and we made the room ourselves for a 3 star hotel I let you be the judge!!!!!

Small hotel directly on the beach, which is rare! Our upstairs room was comfortable, recently renovated with taste and bright. And calm (thank you to the hotel for taking our request into account :)) A little more decoration on the walls would have been a plus. Very good breakfast. In short, a good address, very good value for money. We will come back!

Top location facing the island of Groix, hotel on the beach in a wild site; calm, friendly staff, comfortable room with 3/4 sea view, almost perfect stay; an effort could be made at the catering level, the menus are not very varied, certainly the products are of quality but difficult to avoid the à la carte supplements and the menu of the day is quite basic, a stay of three days or more will encourage you to find a table elsewhere to avoid culinary monotony, it's all the more unfortunate that the setting of the dining room is superb.

No one asked our opinion at the end of the stay, when paying. If we had been asked, we could have said that we were disappointed with the room (004), which we found a little small and without any particular view, except on the parking lot (handy if you want to watch your car!) . We could also have said that we were cold there (despite the heating that we had to turn on when we arrived). And we could have pointed out that the bin had not been emptied before our arrival. Too bad ... Apart from that, the reception was correct, but nothing more. The breakfast was okay. Lots of choices, both sweet and savoury. Small downside: the buffet is placed in a rather cramped place, which quickly becomes difficult to access when there are a few people. Positive point: the location. Ideally placed along the coastal path, it is perfect for going for a walk starting from the hotel. Another positive point: the restaurant. We ate well there. The food offered was very good, and the service was attentive. We will probably return to the restaurant. Maybe not at the hotel...

The hotel is superbly placed and that is what made us choose it. Our arrival there confirmed that we had made the right choice….the hotel is on a dune, on the edge of the beach. Stunning ! But…..if like us, you were unlucky enough to recover one of the rooms between 1 and 6, you will be entitled to a breathtaking view in the basement over….the car park! !!! Instead of the gentle sound of the waves, we had the comings and goings of cars in the evening and engine starts in the early morning. Not very bucolic! Our room was the worst (room 1) because on top of all that it was glued to the hallway access doors which are very noisy.. the first guest who used them woke us up for sure. I'm sure that if we had had a room with a sea view, the experience would have been quite different because the hotel is superbly located.

Hello, Overall our stay went well, except at the start. Indeed, when we opened the door of the room a strong smell of sewer or pipe went up, it was worse in the bathroom. So we opened the windows to ventilate, and we went for a walk. On our return, we closed the windows and went down to dinner at the hotel restaurant. When we came back up, the smell was still present and very unpleasant. We asked to change rooms, which was done, however we ended up in a much smaller room. We are really surprised and disappointed that no commercial gesture was offered to us. Especially since we took all our meals at the hotel, a gesture, if only to deduct the breakfasts or offer us the aperitifs, would have been appreciated. Sincerely, Sophie DELMEE

I wanted to tell you that it is very difficult to find your establishment (even with GPS) when you arrive at the end of the day with the storm! You should specify the sector (Keradec I believe) or arrow it from the center of Lorient. At the level of the restaurant we did not like 'the rabbit revisited' at all, no taste and especially not that of rabbit!!! For the rest nothing to say. Best regards. J.Gauthier
