Great, very well received, quiet, spacious room for three adults,
There is no power outlet around the bed.
Les photos ne correspondaient pas à celles mises sur le site. La chambre et le mobilier étaient vétustes. Nous avons dû faire la chasse aux araignées et aux mites avant de pouvoir dormir.
We've known Valencay, as campers, for years but have now visited this hotel twice. We've enjoyed the welcoming reception staff, the patient and friendly restaurant service, the consistently good food, the clean and comfortable rooms, the lovely and interesting surroundings, the spacious parking and the short walk into town.

Hotel quite old, bathroom not very modern and lack of lighting. Smell of chlorine constantly even in the rooms and the cherry on the cake, a first bill at €540 for 3 nights when the booking price was €230. I am disappointed.

Great welcome, the lady was very friendly. Comfortable bedding, clean sheets, clean towels, hair dryer very much appreciated in the bathroom. Only small downside which is not really one because it was written it is a bathtub and not a shower. And too bad that all the shops are closed in the city center in August but nothing to do with the hotel.

We came last year and enjoyed this small hotel restaurant and its location: good welcome and good restaurant. What a disappointment this year!!! Staff who know nothing and drown in a glass of water, at reception as in the restaurant, the waiter's dress is particularly neglected with a misshapen and holey T-shirt. Classic dishes but everything is overcooked or comes out of the vacuum bag with a little decoration on the plate. The cheese plate comes out of the fridge, we don't even think to take it out at the start of the meal, etc. everything is the same, misery. We will not come back

Poor quality hotel. Rooms were old fashioned. Triple room had a pull down single bed. Mattresses were very uncomfortable. Breakfast was poor- tinned fruit, nothing fresh, very basic.

We are regulars at “Logis” establishments and as a general rule, we are very satisfied with them. During this stay, a warm welcome and the staff of this establishment were very friendly, and this is important when you arrive. Very clean room; view of streams and clearing; good bedding, two cupboards for storage, which was very comfortable, because bikers, clothes are a bit important. We would have appreciated a shower rather than a bath, but it was very clean. An impeccable heated indoor swimming pool located in the light and sun, with a jacuzzi. On the other hand, one point on which we were very disappointed was the catering; as a general rule in Logis, the catering is very good, sometimes even excellent. This time, unfortunately no. Level of a canteen at the level of dishes; even if the presentation seemed nice, the quality was not there; and it was a great disappointment for us. No doubt a recruitment problem in the kitchen, because the service was good, and even on the last evening, one of the managers was sorry for the execution of a dish. But it seems that this establishment is a VVF, which is not noted on the site. Too bad, because the place is nice.
The same hotel is cheaper with VVF, even the staff was surprised by the price requested from logis the france while booking for a single room. Never again
Perfect stay for us. Good value for money
A. establishment to recommend... Clean room, a beautiful space, comfortable bedding, simple decor.
For a 3-star hotel we expected more high-end services. The hotel, the rooms, the decoration, the furniture are all 30-40 years old. Our room was very small, the very uncomfortable bedding needed to be changed. On the other hand, the people managing the reception and the restaurant are really great. A quick visit for our part, we are disappointed and will not come back.
The hotel advertises itself as 3 stars, which is in no way what you would expect from a 3 star. For example a dangling electrical outlet and no more soap in the shower. When it comes to the restaurant and breakfast, it feels like a family home.

The restaurant is only accessible with half board but this is not indicated when booking. So I had to look for a restaurant several km away at the last minute. The breakfast is of poor quality. Several bedbugs in the room, it's not a very pleasant welcome.

Great experience to repeat
Very pleasant hotel. However it was disappointing that the hotel denounced our reservation for diner on a very short notice ( less than 48 hrs) because a large group wanted the restaurant for themselves. The solution of a simple meal in the lounge helped us out, tasted well but was not what we expected in a Logis de France 3 stars.

The room is very outdated It's not nickel in terms of the cleanliness of the bathroom (shower curtain stains at the bottom, dirty joints .... Pillow almost non-existent so they are thin Stains on the carpet

Hotel limits in service and quality of rooms for a three star. Priced only one evening meal, very disappointing. As for the breakfasts: 9 euros per person. The price is expensive for its contents knowing that depending on your time of arrival, there is not much left (pastries, ham, orange juice)

Rented with Logis hotel and we arrived in a VVF.chambre not made. Breakfast simple and not bon.repas a la carte too expensive compared to its simplicity and not varied. we ate 2 evenings the same for a so-called local restaurant of Logis hotel.
Pool, jacuzzi, sauna, the best
Very welcoming and attentive reception staff. The hotel and the pool/sauna facilities are of good quality. On the other hand, the restoration is not of quality. Too much waiting for the service and staff who do not know the job. Half of the dishes listed on the menu were not available.

The place is beautiful, but the hotel is not at the advertised level! The meal at the restaurant is barely worthy of a canteen. The room is large, but the bathroom is far too small, the WC in an almost inaccessible corner... No adjustable air conditioning. The pool has no showers other than the ones that kick in as you pass by, soaking your bath towel!

concerning the room only one socket on the desk, for recharging telephones, watch, computer, very limited. and the decoration is sad. television a disaster from the 5th nothing; the bathroom why leave such a small tub. concerning the meal, to be honest, I have rarely seen this in the stopover evening, so does the catering change between a stopover customer and a restaurant customer, already no choice for the stopover, only one menu and that's it, so my menu tuna avocado verrine (correct) but the paupiette was so burnt that the cook put cream on it to hide the misery suddenly the bacon a real crisp, frankly he was almost hungry and the peas carrots no preparation anyway really NOT terrible for a hotel accommodation. It is the first time and concerning the breakfast which must be ready for 7:30 am, no tray and food which arrives after. the conclusion is that I trusted LOGIS hotels which was for me a sign of quality and low I will think about other options for my travels. TOO BAD

Decent hotel but room rate too high. Small bedding. No cleaning done for our two night stay.
Quiet hotel surrounded by greenery. Correct restaurant (server smiling) but not representative of the local gastronomy in any case in the evening stopover. Big point of disappointment on the quality of the bread which is a shame when we offer cheeses from the region.
We spent 2 days in this hotel. We were very disappointed overall. The furniture and decor is not modern at all. One in two saunas did not work. Welcome to the restaurant not friendly and we did not have many choices of dishes. A starter and 3 courses were no longer available. The price remains very high for the quality of the hotel.

The staff is welcoming, but the heating is practically non-existent. The hotel claims and wants to be in favor of the planet but still uses radiators called: "toasters" which consume a lot of energy and do not heat. Fortunately there is a blanket in the wardrobe. But if you are not in bed! freezing cold! 8° degrees outside! In the room ..... In the dining room it was cold, very high ceiling, but radiator off. Meal with a single menu, adequate. Only one person to serve an isolated group and the room, hence a very long wait. The waitress did what she could and apologized. Freezing dining room, high ceiling and radiator not working.
