Good hotel l
The welcome and service given was excellent and most considerate including an unsolicited change of room to one on the ground floor to save my wife from climbing stairs was
I booked for 2 nights, the parking is large and safe. The room needs to be renovated despite some touch-ups, the shower head no longer holds, cobwebs on one side of the bathroom. The room is relatively clean. Too bad the weather did not allow us to test the outdoor pool. The restaurant is very good, the dishes are tasty! The breakfast is correct. The hotel is located on the edge of the national road but no noise problem.

Passionate and exciting host/manager, attentive and always with good advice for visiting and discovering the region. Pleasant accommodation with several services offered. Caring staff! Very good breakfast and restaurant with a suggestion of “homemade” dishes as well as a selection of good wines. Welcoming and attentive waitress. Ideal geographical location between the city of Bordeaux, the Gironde estuary, the wine and castle route (for oenophiles) as well as the sea just 40 minutes away…. I highly recommend this accommodation for a getaway in this region.
One of my favorite places for an evening stopover. The welcome, the team, the swimming pool and the park for walking, as well as the quality of the meals make it an essential place for a quality-price ratio without too much equivalence!
We had dinner at the restaurant, the meal was too filling for the evening, we didn't eat dessert, which is a shame. Perhaps it would be better to do a little less for the meal and a little less expensive, which would allow us to have a dessert and the price of the meal would be higher for you. Slight problem with the soundproofing of the room (TV sound too loud at midnight and 6 a.m.)
Pont Bernet is truly a gourmet stopover par excellence. Its chef is very attentive to these details and offers his guests upon arrival what they can visit in the surrounding area or do in his hotel. The highlight of this stay lies in the dishes offered in the restaurant of the Pont Bernet: delicious!!

Very friendly and helpful staff, extrodinary garden, nice pool and a great breakfast. Rooms are good, some could use a bit of new silicon in the bathroom. Walls and doors are thin, but overall this is a very good option for a stay.

Only problem, 140 cm bed for 2, a little tight and the quality of the bedding average But that's just our opinion, from a 54 year old couple.

Excellent welcome. The air conditioning in the room was welcome. Dinner on the terrace at the back of the hotel facing the forest was very pleasant. All the products are fresh and home-cooked. The owner is a former sommelier and knows perfectly how to recommend a wine to go with the dishes served (I liked it so much that I left with bottles). The homemade plum jam is a real treat at breakfast. Thank you again for this welcome. I will gladly come back.
The Host was very friendly. The hole impression of the hotel is messy. The beds are way to small for adults. The outside needs to be cleaned and refreshed. Breakfast was great.

It’s a shame that the soundproofing is very limited, and that the quality of the WiFi signal does not allow you to work correctly on a remote site. For the rest, pretty well within the standard.

A step to remember. The rooms are well equipped. Swimming pool (multiple inflatable items available), facilities for relaxing: table tennis, tennis, volleyball. The park is very pleasant Reception, catering and service at the top.
The best welcome will be reserved for you, however the bedding and the state of the cushions are to be deplored

An old-fashioned hotel, a room with peeling wallpaper. A starter, a main course, a dessert in the evening, no choice. 45 minutes of waiting to see the starter arrive (gazpacho!!), in vegetables from the dish just semolina (without sauce, or butter....). And an overwhelmed waitress running around (brave because little help from the head of the place).
