We arrived early and secured a good parking place outside the hotel. The reception was no problem and room was small but adequate. We had booked a package which included dinner and breakfast. It was not until we were seated at the table that we became aware that the dinner/breakfast option did not allow any choice in the menu. I don't think that was made clear in the booking information. We didn't fancy the starter but it was no problem to opt out and choose from the main menu. it was more expensive but life is for enjoyment. it also meant that breakfast was not included but we don't eat much at breakfast anyway, so we just skipped that. we had an enjoyable meal in the evening and would certainly go back to this hotel if we were travelling that way again. I just wouldn't opt for the Dinner/Breakfast. The village is also nice to walk about with an abundance of restaurants and cafes, the canal etc.

Very satisfied with my stay at the Cours de Saint Gilles hotel, the only downside was the limited variety of the evening stopover menus. Having stayed 4 nights and therefore 4 dinners, I had the same starter twice, the same main course twice and the same dessert twice, no quality issues, just a lack of variety. Thank you
Great discovery, everything was perfect.
It is a pity that we have to highlight a negative note regarding the waiter who served our table, whose attitude and service were far from what was expected. We were returning from spending 20 days in Italy, Slovenia and Austria and it was the first time on the entire trip that we received inappropriate treatment.
Very happy with our stay. Rest and calm were there. The hotel and restaurant staff were very attentive.
Very clean and cozy room. Dinner and breakfast at the TOP. Maxime, at dinner, was really kind and thoughtful speaking in Italian to help us choose the dishes.
We have already stayed in this hotel a few times. Actually, we - three friends - are at the festival in Arles, but for contrast we like to stay in St.Gilles. Good triple room, great air conditioning, very pleasant staff, enough parking in front of the door - we would be happy to come back.

Welcome without problem, explanations and accommodation that met our expectations. A small downside regarding the bathroom, a single sink stuck in a small bathroom, without being able to put our things in place...a person of large build will be particularly hampered in these movements when washing. On the other hand, we are used to taking half-board in Logis Hotels and therefore having the possibility of choosing at least 2 options for the meal: the starter hardly enchanted us (liver too present) , the obligatory haddock dish (I'm not a fan of fish), I was offered pork tenderloin which was still decent, for dessert a small piece of pie....sorry but for a Master Restaurateur we expected better. A little disappointed by our experience with you, the copious breakfast was nothing personal with banal preparations...
Excellent establishment from all points of view: in the heart of the ancient town of Saint-Gilles-du-Gard, open 7 days a week in season, warm welcome, quiet hotel, quality catering. Big thanks.
Everything is OK, but their price is too high for what they provide. If I have to pay €31 for a beer and an ox cutlet in the evening, then that is too much. Especially if the plate was so empty that you didn't feel full. That is completely unacceptable. I would like to rate your hotel 85 out of 100, but the prices are too high and the dinner too little. Breakfast is great.

Nice little hotel, close... too bad there was nothing to make a coffee or anything.
We had a superior room. Accommodation was good value for money. Aircon was excellent. We booked half board, the meal and service were good.
We were in the annex. For a room costing €100, we expected better comfort: unventilated room smelling of tobacco, outdated shower room, dirty carpet… Fortunately the meal at the restaurant was good and the waiter was very pleasant.
Forced to change my arrival date for serious personal reasons, I was unable to benefit from any concern from the hotel which took refuge behind the fact that the reservation was "final" despite my request more than 10 days before the date of this reservation. A group of hotels to avoid for me from now on.

good parking when we knew where it was ,lift air conditioning as promised very comfortable bed. All sadly ruined by the abruptness and border line rudeness of our waitress especially as other waiters where being extremely helpful to thier customers. Went down at 7.50 looking for ward to our first saturday out this year after a few days away for my 80th birthday . I only wish I had picked a different table so we could have enjoyed a lovely evening as so many did . we watched as others got de served and went off ,until finally receiving our main course at 9.15 with some faces pulled because i asked for a plain omelette, it was to late for my husband to want the looked forward to dessert.

Unpleasant welcome, to tell us that Booking should have warned us that we would be staying in the annex 600 meters from the hotel in a small, faded hotel with cracked walls which even kept its old name on the lambrequin, Hôtel Heraclee. The hotel was chosen following the good (false) reference given by Booking.
