It's hard to write down everything because I had to cancel my stay against my will following the unexpected and last-minute cancellation of my partner. I called the establishment and nothing was offered to me - possibly a postponement even if not provided for in the regulations. I lost 154.5 euros when it was supposed to be a honeymoon evening. No gesture or commercial attitude! Much regret

The food was very good but the service was a little disappointing. The room was adequate but no tea or coffee and there was nowhere in the hotel to sit and relax and have a drink.

a remark made to the manager concerning breakfast was met with a response bordering on kindness: it's your fault you didn't warn about breakfast before 8:30 a.m. there was no bread because the baker is on vacation without warning it's possible but saying it with a smile is better
A delightful traditional country hotel. Our room was very comfortable and had unusual decorations with a musical theme, reflecting the name of the room (Chopin). The bathroom was clean and very convenient. The cuisine in the dining room is excellent and the wine list offers a great range of options, although none by the glass which is disappointing. Our only note of criticism was that the air conditioning unit in our room was very large and noisy - surely a hotel of this quality can afford to provide a modern a/c unit?

Hello, for me there are mainly 3 points to note. - No courtesy tray in the room and the reason given to us at reception is at the very least absurd! Customers would leave with them...! Unheard of. In addition, in the room there are only 2 electrical outlets, ditto I raised the subject at reception and I was told that normally there are power strips, again no luck there were none in my room. And finally it would be good to have the air conditioning serviced because it certainly consumes a lot of energy but does not cool very much and gives off a bad smell.

We were disappointed with the hotel. For pre-dinner drinks we had the distinct feeling we were interrupting the diner set-up! Our food appeared to have been plated up for some considerable time before it was served. We had waited 30 minutes for our desserts and then had to ask for them.
For the price we paid we expected better, we have stayed at many Logis hotels over the years and this hotel did not give us value for money.
When making the reservation, we had asked for a safe bicycle shed for our electric bicycles; no place was provided; our bicycles had to remain on our bicycle rack during the night because during the day we took them with us for our excursions.

Distinguished table.... we had reserved for three days, but the same menu over the three days (lunch and evening) Noisy and squeaky floorboards during the night when we were traveling; 5th vertical beam would need blocking to avoid noise at night No door in the bathroom - we were 2 adults and 2 children, a sliding door would be enough for a minimum of privacy!! Opening curtains and double curtains painful; a little cleaning would be welcome Planter at the window empty of flowers!! Very dirty and greenish window sill!! Noisy metal bed!! etc and yet we were in the suite "Anne de Bretagne On the breakfast side, the tablecloth on the round table is MUCH TOO LONG and makes it difficult to settle in. The fridge is much too low for the elderly, lack of heat and assistance from the staff Parking much too small and difficult to exit in reverse especially when delivery trucks are parked in front of the exit!!

I'm not in the habit of responding to comments but reading you makes me want to vomit... What a lack of honesty and frankness on your part (it's always easier to hide behind your screen...) You spent 3 nights in our establishment, you had plenty of time to share your comments with me! Why tell us that everything was fine when I asked you if your day went well? Why tell us when you check out that everything went well?
But what are you actually asking for?? You criticize our menu ok, it is composed of 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts with fresh and seasonal products. You dine on the 1st evening but did not ask us if we had other possible menu alternatives on the other days if you wanted to dine again. For long stays, this is what we offer our customers and they are very happy with it.
Are you criticizing our staff??, however, is it normal to snap your fingers to call us to the dining room and get rid of you while we are chatting with customers at a neighboring table?? (I take this to be a lack of civility and respect towards the people who do this job and the stunned customers at the other tables in our restaurant..)
For breakfast, a poorly organized and not restocked buffet?? Everything you need is in our fridges or on our buffets but in fact as you had difficulty bending down, you must have seen all the homemade preparations (cold meats, fruit salad, yogurt, butter as well as the fresh bread, the pastries, fruit juices and so on…) You also stipulate the lack of presence of staff at breakfast, when you have an answer for everything, when you don't speak or answer badly, in fact, the staff does not Don't linger too long at your table.
Then, for the parquet floor in your room, you are in an old building, but you should know that. From what I read, you are ultimately not that old to hear the creaking of the parquet floor and the wrought iron bed!!
Indeed, the flower planter is empty, and yes in April what to plant?? You surely still have the solution or the reference for the miraculous plant that overcomes the cold, the frost and the storm!!
It's surprising that you failed to report the return of the personal effects forgotten by your grandson (at our expense of course since we still have goodwill towards our customers, but given your behavior we will surely change our mentality as well).
We are a small family business that listens to our customers and we work out of passion for our profession, this may not be the type of establishment that suited you.

Heartwarming welcome. Comfortable and well decorated room. The bathroom is very big! A tea/coffee kettle would have been a plus. A little noisy on the street side in the morning and the doors slamming... the cuisine is tasty and refined. Pretty restaurant room. I recommend !
On arrival was more than accommodating. Showed us our room and welcomed our collie, car parking is fine with a safe compound which is locked at night. Food was great novelle cuisine and bequillingly filling. A nice wine list with a comprehensive range .We asked for rose and he recommendeda wine to suit both our menus and not a necessarily expensive wine * ; -). Nice breakfast decent choice and godd quality again. Ps if you need to take doggy out at night no probs . Just all street lighting goes out at 10.30 i always have a torch anyway. Excellent stop along our route from Cancale to Moustiers-Ste-Marie. We chose this property because of its high Logis ratings as a hotel and as a restaurant — and its location near our route. We were very pleased with the warm welcome, comfortable chambre, excellent dinner and service, high quality breakfast offering, and good value. We highly recommend.

Despite agreeing to arrive at 17h00, we arrived 8 minutes early and everything was locked up! There was no response when we rang the bell (3 times), so we had to telephone before a delightful young woman arrived to let us in.
Courteous welcome but nothing more. Dull atmosphere accompanied by a certain letting go of a hotel that struggles to maintain itself at a level that must have been higher at one time! Past and future difficulties weigh on the enthusiasm of the establishment's management. Obvious lack of almost absent staff at breakfast reduced to its simplest expression. Very few choices. Industrial orange juice. Only the restaurant is up to scratch despite a wine list at prohibitive prices unwelcome in this kind of establishment!

We enjoyed our stay but we found that the value for money was not there. The breakfast was not worthy of an establishment of this type. The butter was replaced by frozen margarine and the cold cuts offered consisted of two slices of sausage and a small slice of ham dating back several days. The orange juice was spicy and the homemade yogurt had the smell of an outdated product.
