Comfortable room and good quality restaurant with home cooking. One point of improvement however, the opening of breakfast at 7:15 is late for a business trip and the bread which only arrives at 7:30, therefore out of sync does not allow for a proper breakfast for a departure around 7:30.

Excellent hotel, well located to visit all the surrounding villages, great services, soundproofed rooms, everything is extremely clean, super decent breakfasts, very good restaurant although a little too expensive, friendly staff and the owners too, what more could you ask for! Go there, advice from a former hotelier!

The team is good for the reception, but there are still things to improve in the accommodation. In room 26 there are clearly problems with humidity and therefore a smell of humidity.
Great stay, the staff is very friendly and professional, without being "intrusive". The hotel itself is great. The room is spotless. And the restaurant is really good. It's a very nice discovery.
A quirky and interesting early twentieth century building beautifully kitted out in modish mid-century style. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with pool and garden. Excellent catering with interesting flavours and fresh local produce. Attentive and friendly staff but one or two tiny points - no hand soap for the bathroom basin, and a slight lack of info, so there is tea and coffee in the breakfast room but guests cannot help themselves except at breakfast time, even when no staff are around. A notice to this effect would be helpful or maybe an honesty book for those who fancy a cuppa during the day. But overall a lovely place to stay and very good value for somewhere so stylish.

The main reason for a bad experience was I was served undercooked chicken. We both had the chiclken, one was cooked to the bone perfectly, mine was bloody and translucent still near the bone (I work in gastronomy for 25 years) after a long period yhe waiter approached to clear, looked at my plate and said was there a problem, I told him it was undercooked and showed him the chicken bloodline, he ageeed. At 10pm after a long day I was offered for the chicken to be cooked again, I said no thank you. He asked would I like dessert. No thank you I am fine.
The plates were returned to the kitchen and nothing was said about it, no comment or apology. I asked tk charge dinner to my room. I was disappointed this morning upon check out to see that the full menu was charged for, not even a discount applied considering the protein was inedible.
Regarding the rooms, they are tired. I booked what I thought was a superior room in the comfort room with a terrace. It was an ambulant room, fine. The shower curtain was not clean. The seals around the shower are missing. We booked for 2 people, we were provided ONE bath towel. There is no drinking cups whatsoever, not even to drink water from.
The floor is missing tiles, the room looks grotty.
And sleeping on a bed with a leak proof mattress protector across two single beds was the most uncomfortable sleep I’ve had in 3 weeks on the road travelling for work.

I am extremly upset to read you had your worse hospitality experience at our hotel.
Regarding the restaurant and the cooking of your meat, and as you are a gastronomy professional, you perfectly know we don't cook chicken legs to order as the cooking time is quite long. that kind of issue might happen from time to time as all legs are baked together. So why didn't you just asked to change your chicken? we would have done it immediately and would have avoid this drama.
As far as the room is concerned, I have checked the room immediately after your comment, I don't see any tile missing, the seals are here. Regarding the shower curtain, our cleaning team should have seen it, I have done a training update regarding that particular point.
For the bath towel and cup, during this period of the year as we welcome many person travelling alone for work, we ask our team to prepare the rooms for one person when the room is not reserved. You made a last minute booking and we just didn't realize the setting for not done for 2. We are sorry about that, but there's always someone at the reception to give extra towels when asked.
For your total information, this room has been refreshed and refurbished last year. I am sorry you didn't like it, but that's a question of personnal taste.
And yes, we protect all of our mattresses, that's actually a compliance rule to the 3-star classification.

The reception was friendly. We had to carry the luggage ourselves to the top floor of the house. The dinner in the restaurant was good, but we felt the prices were too high. The hotel appears very stylishly furnished, one expects accordingly also an immaculate room. However, there was hair on the floor of the bathroom when we moved into the room. The toilet paper was not stocked up, on the bed it had only a thin sheet, since there was a drop in temperature, we had to take a comforter without cover from the box. Also in the second night the comforter was not covered. We mention this because the hotel from the price range is in a category where this should not happen. All drinking vessels in the room, including the toothbrush cup, were paper cups that had to be thrown away after use. The floor in the room was already dirty and was not cleaned even on the second day. Too bad. The morning buffet offered a usual selection, nothing warm, no eggs, unfortunately the ham was not fresh. We had deliberately booked not only a standard room, were a little disappointed that it was on the top floor and zuhinterst. The hotel seems better at first than it actually is.

We had a nice time at this hotel. Its strengths: very pleasant and competent staff (for reception, table service, etc.), quality of the meal (hearty and refined dishes at the same time), the setting with the shaded and flowery courtyards to enjoy the aperitif, the meal and breakfast.

Very friendly place where the whole team was great, especially Laurent the butler who took very good care of us. Good advice, very attentive, he contributed to our well-being during this stay. Pleasant pool area, excellent evening meal. The bathroom has been redone and the bedding is comfortable.

I spent 4 nights of which 3 with cold. The 3 stage the cold corridor, bad heating. They gave me a space heater last night. The super flesh meals, I asked to have the stopover evening, but it was impossible because I made the payment with booking. It was impossible to come to an agreement on the menu. The people are nice but it lacks a bit of flexibility and listening to the customer. Since the first night I have been asking for a heater.
