Passing through the region for a wedding, we spent a night in this beautiful establishment (two adults, one child). We had a pleasant stay, warm welcome, clean and spacious room and bathroom. Choice for breakfast!
Comfortable hotel, very high quality restaurant
Superb restaurant realyy good food. This is what France is all about. Will definitely use as a stop over or maybe even longer.

We were in Villa des Houx for the second time within a week. This second time we were just disappointed about the bathroom: It had just a bath not a shower. This is very dangerous for elderly people like us. We were already suggested to ask for a room with a porter next time. But the dinner with 'caille ' was great!

Returned to this large, and impressive, if rather dated Hotel . Winder Fu team of staff, and great single choice menu for Dinner on Standard menu, which was of exceptions qualify . Lamb leg steak cooked to perfection !!

magnetic card of my room deactivated when I returned at night. no one answered. my phone calls before 6.30 so I slept in my car until 6.30 at 11am, a charming lady knocked on my room door to make me leave by 11am unless I had to pay for a second night!!!! no apology, reduction, kindness.. absolutely odious staff. a real disgrace

We have stayed at the Villa des Houx on 3 occasions and we have enjoyed the experience each time. However this year we found that despite advising of a dietary problem with hot spices a member of our party was served food with hot peppercorns on it, luckily highly visible.
Very friendly staff, good room, no airconditioning which made it very warm.
perfect for our stopover. tasty dinner! excellent homemade dessert. decent breakfast but lacks a nice presentation and coffee other than "heated on a plate"... too bad. no charging station yet but 2 available within 100m we received a commercial gesture following a small problem, unexpected but appreciated!

surprise of the day! In transit from Germany, we spent a pleasant evening in this beautiful residence. A magnificent facade typical of the region. The decoration is certainly somewhat shabby but the dinner, the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the bedding remain in good condition. .
We had 2 stays at logis hotel. We chose the hotel due to location and recommendations from Tripadviser.
We have traveled to France over several years and have had many stays at Logis Hotels. Unfortunately, we do not speak French, but we have had wonderful experiences and fantastic service on all our stays. Everyone has been helpful and nice despite our lack of French.
Unfortunately, we cannot say that about our stay at the Logis Hôtel la Villa des Houx hotel. Our experiences of the staff at the restaurant were that they were downright rude. The staff's lack of service and courage to accommodate non-French-speaking foreigners mean that the hotel does not receive high ratings and cannot be recommended.
Very nice hotel, excellent restaurant, nice historic building, professional personnel.
Evening trip stopover, I had a large room but without air conditioning, so I slept with the window open but the night was very quiet. Otherwise, in terms of catering, it's a real gourmet restaurant and I salute the Chef and the staff.

We booked half board. At dinner we asked for another menu. Waitress said I have to ask. She came back with the other menus. Not mentioning that our booked half board was canceled at that time. We noticed this when checking out. No solution offered at all.

We booked a table for dinner for 7:30pm. There were 28 other diners and 7 waiters/waitresses.
The meal was good but our first course wasn't served until 8:30pm. One hour to wait for the first course is totally unacceptable.
There were only three choises for the main course. At 7:30pm, the beef was not available! Where did all the beef go?

Bon séjour dans l'ensemble, très bon accueil avec un service personnalisé et sympathique.
Les chambres ne sont plus dans l'air du temps mais très bien entretenue avec une literie confortable et surtout je n'ai entendu aucun bruit ni dans les couloirs ni de la route route longeant l'hôtel.
Idem pour la salle de bain avec baignoire donc d'un autre âge mais bonne pression d'eau, chauffage sèche serviette qui fonctionne parfaitement donc c'est très bien.
Petit parking à disposition sinon stationnement dans la rue sur le trottoir.
Côté restauration, le service est soigné sympathique et personnalisé. Les plats que j'ai pu déguster dans le menu à 29 euros étaient plutôt corrects. Très joli plateau de fromage.
Le petit déjeuner est peu être un peu juste en terme de diversité mais cela doit s'adapter également en fonction du nombre de client.

it is not for the beer that you should stop at the establishment - on the other hand very pleasant welcome - accommodation which suited us in a superb Normandy setting - spacious room with excellent comfort - superb gourmet meal
Perfect hotel for a stopover. Quiet room with perfect bedding. Shower (room 22) a little dated but functional. Breakfast has a fairly extensive choice and the evening menu was exceptional. Well done to the chef!

The decoration in the room needs to be reviewed, but it is spacious, the same goes for the bathroom, a large desk for working, comfortable bedding and a quiet and charming place, especially the garden. Quality of staff. (Benevolent and friendly)

The reception manager is not very welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable, despite the curtains being taken down on several passers-by (allowing light to pass through) Downside on the breakfast. Result the price of the night is high compared to the inconveniences for a 3 star hotel.

The quality of the products (bread/jam/others) is disappointing compared to the quality of the evening meal. We have stayed at this hotel several times before on our way to Brittany. Everything fits here. A nice room and an excellent meal. Friendly staff and what is important to us, a good parking lot. We will be back definitely.

Reception at the restaurant rather cold and endless time for dinner. Nearly 2 at the table, being alone in the evening stage, it's much too long. Room equipment reduced to a minimum, no bottle of water, no kettle for instant coffee or tea
