Our pleasant experience last year was not repeated. Our request for a reservation at the restaurant via the Logis website - 2 months in advance - had not been read. We were relegated to the breakfast room. The various dishes we ordered were too salty.
We had a great stay at the Fleur de Lys Hotel. The owners and staff are very friendly. The building is beautiful. The dinner and breakfast were also very good. We will definitely be back!
Our assessment is linked to the category of the hotel (2 stars) we were very well received and we benefited from a secure room for our electric bikes - The "catering" part is also of very good quality, we all appreciated it (there were 6 of us seniors) - The rooms are clean and the bedding comfortable - (a little refresh in terms of decoration would be appreciated but that did not prevent us from having a very good stay)
Very committed new owners of the hotel, who have already renovated a lot. It was pretty run down at the time. The restaurant was closed. In 2019, just at the beginning of the Corona lockdowns, the owners changed. Now they are renovating the rooms bit by bit. The restaurant is also open again. Great food, great service. We will definitely come back
Upon our arrival, on August 28, around 4 p.m.: the hotel door was closed. A sign invited us to call a member of the hotel. In the sweltering heat, we waited a quarter of an hour. A deplorable welcome. No apologies, no welcome. Nothing. The person opened the "reception desk", which had previously been closed by a shutter. A quick, short and cold exchange. The desk (shutter) was closed. Room: perfect. From that moment on, we didn't see anyone until the next morning. Using our key to open and close the hotel entrance door! Never seen before!

Very pleasant welcome and tasty cuisine!
Upon our arrival, the owner seemed exhausted, and expressed this openly ("On n'a pas arrêté depuis ce matin!") when we asked if we could have dinner at their place. She told us yes, but not after 20h30, the kitchen will be closed. As a matter of fact, other customers arrived later, and they were seated and served. As a paying guest, the least i expect is to feel welcome. And that was by far not the case.
The food was very below average. The salad and the burger were done without love and quite tasteless. It was not worth the money we paid. We will not recommend.

Room correct and clean but sanitary at the level of the 60s; uncomfortable shower in slippery bathtub, toilet with leaking tank (noise of dripping) and broken toilet seat... Doubts about the hygiene and general cleanliness of this establishment (huge spider web under the skylight of the staircase , back kitchen with odorous and unclosed trash cans...

A nice hotel on the church square and directly opposite Cormatin Castle. There is enough free parking on the street and at the church. Breakfast delicious and varied (cheese, sausage, jam, yogurt, baguette, croissants, etc.). Room clean and ok toilet separated from bathroom. Unfortunately there are few sockets and storage space. Dinner delicious. 2 three-course menus (€30/€32) and a la carte. Very tasty prepared and absolutely ok in terms of price.

Disastrous hotel and restaurant. Meal that does not correspond to "greedy", any and bad. We complained to the owners. In response I was insulted, and we were kicked out with threats at 11 p.m. We slept elsewhere. Disastrous welcome and service. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment, which should not be part of the Logis de France. We have often stayed in the Logis and are always satisfied. I have never experienced such a situation either in a Logis or in any other hotel. Scandalous and unacceptable.

Very nice home. We will come back for the restaurant because during our visit it was closing day. Full and hearty breakfast. In short, a good address. It should also be noted that the hotel is located opposite the Château de Cormatin, a visit to which is well worth the detour.
After the surprise of finding the hotel closed because it only opened in the afternoon (rest day, which I had not seen when booking), I was well received, with a large room , comfortable and air-conditioned (I think I had an upgrade, a big thank you to the hotel manager because it was hot). Air conditioning incomprehensible
Pretty hotel in a small village, ideally located opposite the superb castle of Cormatin. All the staff are very pleasant and very caring and we appreciated that the breakfasts (hearty buffet) are taken in the "bar" part of the establishment where we were able to mingle with the villagers and feel that the soul of the village beats in this place. The dinner of very good quality is served in a sublime dining room. A very pleasant and rejuvenating 3-day stay that we greatly appreciated.
Very happy to have been the first customer in the evening stopover as a regular in the lodgings of France. We feel from the beginning that Christophe likes to receive, share his know-how and take care of his customers. Located just in front of the castle of Cormatin, I highly recommend. My second reservation is already on the way!
What a pleasure to have stopped in Cormatin. Arrived by chance because new at home and therefore not on the paper guide. Manager at the top, it transpires good humor, the taste for a job well done and customer satisfaction. It feels good to arrive in a place where you feel expected and where the host wants to work and make you happy. Alone that evening, I expected to be sent to me quickly and well done, but the manager is very professional and made my visit very pleasant. Can't wait to be out Elena in the area to go back :) Go there and treat yourself
