On a business trip, I arrived at the hotel at 5:30 p.m. to settle in and work for a few hours in my room before going to dinner in the town of Bressuire. To my surprise, no car was present in the parking lot of the hotel, the hotel was closed (closed doors and lights off inside). I walked around the establishment to see if anyone was there. I then saw on the front door, the opening hours of the hotel which curiously indicated and among other things, open from 5:00 p.m. on weekdays with a telephone number to call in the event of a request for information. So I dialed this number and after several tries, a woman answered me and told me that they were on their way to the hotel. Then expressing my concern to see no one, I took on a haughty tone, a reflection that I had to be a little more patient. Once there, a couple opened the door for me and I was finally able to enter the reception, I expected at least an apology but instead, I received a new reflection in the same tone and like what, I quote: "at 5:30 p.m., (30 minutes late after the opening time indicated) people are working Sir! It's normal not to see anyone on the site and the hotel car park". Amazing ! I then allowed myself to tell them that I too was working and that it was not up to customers to wait for the hotel to open its doors but rather to the hotel staff to be present and to welcome people who arrived. . In addition I made them notice the delay which they had taken compared to the indications on the door. In view of the unpleasant and execrable behavior of this couple (apparently the boss and the boss) and the dwindling confidence in the quality of the establishment, I decided not to stay in this hotel! Having understood that I wouldn't stay, I then had myself thrown outright verbally by the two fanatics! Tired from the road and vexed with the situation, at 6:00 p.m. I had to hastily look for a new room from my car, which I managed to do, fortunately.
