RESTAURANT Not far from Morteau and the Swiss border, this restaurant is an ambassador for good taste, à la française. First for its natural, smart surroundings (made of fine materials, very elegant tables and beautiful flower arrangements), then for the quality of the Chef’s cuisine, who took over and modernised this family business a few years ago. You’ll love the serene, opulent atmosphere and the hospitality (with the chef’s wife in charge) just as much as the elaborate, contemporary and beautifully crafted food. The produce is mainly, but not exclusively, regional. Unusual flavours are combined to afford subtle, tasty experiences like hake in home-grown lemon balm and trumpet courgettes cooked to perfection. The desserts are also well worth a mention, continuing in this creative and aesthetic vein with fresh melon with soft almond calisson sweets. The Zleep Hotel team takes great care of its guests. The hotel is clean and very comfortable with a refined and practical layout. Ideal for business trips and/or corporate seminars. I slept very well during my stay.
Some freshening up would be welcome in the room!

Very friendly staff, very nice setting. However the room was not 100% spotless and the soundproofing was very poor (we heard EVERYTHING about the couple in the next room, by the way, well done champion, you gave it your all!) So good but could be improved.
We had booked a night with half-board, a very warm welcome, the rooms are good, the breakfast plentiful and the meal very good, refined with a research into the tastes and a worked presentation.

Despite a very satisfactory welcome, the cleanliness of the bathroom needs to be reviewed, the bedding needs to be changed, the mattress is very, very uncomfortable and there are no sockets in the room. Regarding the catering, we are very happy with this experience, it was delicious….
Very busy road right under our windows. The whole family was woken up at 5am by the noise of very noisy traffic despite the closed windows. Insufficient quality of glazing, it's a shame. For the rest, spacious and pleasant family room.
Tastefully renovated hotel, comfortable rooms, very good value for money. We are welcomed with a smile. Special mention for the restaurant: exceptional: a festival of flavors and a real show on the theme of the senses. Very professional service.

Ein Schmuckes Hotel in Mitten von Villars-le-lac. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet, leider staut sich die Wärme im Zimmer. Wir fanden es zu warm, trotz laufendem Ventilator. Das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend. Der Service könnte präsenter sein, wir musste um Schluss lange warten, um noch was zu bestellen.

Very original, sought-after table
The room was comfortable and very clean. Electronic reception (have your phone handy). Parking is nearby but with parking disc. Please note the restaurant is closed on Sundays.
Very nice establishment
Room not very clean, bathroom trash can not emptied and the sheets smelled like laundry that was not very dry, musty...damp. Very poor bedding, soft mattress. No socket near the bed. Finally only one tea bag offered and provided, a Lipton Earl Gray bag! We've seen better...finally, what's the idea of putting bells on key rings?!?

A moment out of time! The decoration of the rooms and the restaurant is modern but warm. We are welcomed with a smile. Breakfast is very varied with Comté, Morteau sausage, and lots of local products, honey from the shelf, yogurts and local fruit juices. As for the restaurant, the prices are very reasonable in relation to the creativity and quality of the cuisine. The Doubs jump is also worth the trip. In summary, an excellent establishment and a very good stay for us.

Arrived at 4 p.m., dinner early in the evening, wine list on tablet not handed out despite my request, a sommelier forces your hand, during the meal a manager tells me that we will have to pay for two rooms because there would be two reservations at our name, fortunately I had kept my exchanges by email, the term “cancels and replaces” had not been understood? She informed us that she was losing the rental of a room, having visited the site, we noticed that the hotel was far from full! This manager then ignored us after reading the emails. The next day only one reservation was taken into account fortunately! Disappointing dinner, no structure in the follow-up, not gastronomic, small portions, infinitesimal doses, desire to cause a sensation? Yes, we ate our first locust (no taste, the end an ear of dried rye with honey would have been identical) we don't know where we are in the process of the meal, dessert without any charm finally we advise against eating there. As for the breakfast served on the first floor, a room linen cart at the exit of the elevator (it remained there and was still there when we took the elevator again), Tables revealing the remains of previous customers, materials: boulders, coffee makers and others all stuck together, nothing was clear! Room windows even though it hadn't rained for a long time. In conclusion, this hotel is not worthy of a distinguished table, we have stayed in other establishments where the service, the table and the breakfast easily exceed the services of France. How did this hotel get this qualification?
Arrived on a wintry night in pouring rain. As soon as you enter the doors of the Hôtel de France, you feel warmth, comfort and a myriad of bottles of Bas-Armagnac, as if the absent sun of the day had crystallized its rays in these bottles. A clean, cozy, quiet room, the obviously loving Chef delighted my taste buds, the welcoming and sincere room staff, a wine list at very reasonable prices and above all the Mistress of the place who nourished my soul with her mastery letters, looking forward to reading his chromatic work

Aging hotel. The rooms are patched up, not very clean (marks on the walls and cobwebs) and the soundproofing is really bad.
Nice hotel, unfortunately for some rooms furniture from the 70s and 80s is a bit worn. The biggest problem are the rooms facing the crossroads as there is a lot of HIGH speed traffic. Windows open very difficult! Part of the team crucially lacks training and customer service experience, too bad...

second stay in this hotel first time I booked a room for 3 people the bed for the third person was not made second stay the waste paper bins in the room were not emptied and I had a room on the street side relatively noisy (may be due to work in the city actually)
Pay attention to the cleanliness of the toilets. Breakfast very good but remember to renew the water for coffee and pastries. Noisy because of the road but you can't do anything about it.
