Hotel with a lot of charm, very clean and tastefully decorated room. But very poorly insulated. Small downside: the disappointing restaurant, poor quality/price ratio.
Restaurant and setting very good, the rooms could do with a refresh. The staff very good
Overall our experience was positive. We knew that the restaurant was closed on Sunday evenings but naively we thought that the bar would be open so there was little to do but go to our room (2), which was a little cramped but was clean and comfortable. Shower attachments could do with an upgrade and my wife had to endure a ‘floppy’ shower head. Finally it would be useful to either advise in advance the gate code or provide the telephone number to contact on the Hotel.com confirmation
Very beautiful old house. Simple room with everything you need. Very good breakfast.
The hotel is quiet and in a peaceful environment. The castle is beautiful. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and pleasant. The restaurant located at the foot of the hotel is both practical and efficient. The food is very good. What more can I say? I felt very good in this hotel and I will definitely return!
One night I returned late to find that the gate to the property was locked. Nothing in the literature I received told me about this practice. So I called, and spoke to someone who spoke zero English, and hung up on me. When I tarted flashing my headlights and warning lights, then the gate opened. For the next time, I asked for the combination. And got it. Except that they didn't tell me to press the "S" key on the keypad to open the door Ah, well, Only five minutes of manipulation was enough to figure it out.
