118€ for the "Premium Evening Stopover" we expect something other than a small old-fashioned room with a tiny bathroom in poor condition, toilet in the bathroom, mini sink unusable because it is so small..... This room, number 1 is against the landing door which bangs on the wall every time you pass... The only positive point is the Nespresso in the room!!!
On the ad and the reservation, it says premium room and the 48 is from another age especially the bathroom. So I am disappointed and it is one of the reasons why I often go elsewhere towards Ussel, Egletons. Otherwise the meal = very good.

A beautiful hotel and a nice room. Downside, no elevator and the person at the reception is nonchalant.

The hotel rooms do not have mechanical ventilation. We recommend the restaurant, especially the sweetbreads.

If the room is small, it is up to date and very functional. Placed on the river side, quiet night despite the rain on top of the restaurant placed in front of the window. Evening stopover menu with very varied choice, it is appreciable, it is very good and plentiful. Very good breakfast. Very professional and pleasant welcome and service. Very appreciated parking for the vehicle of almost 5m that I had.

Nice friendly hotel, not much English spoken but we got by. The food was excellent eaten in the restaurant overlooking the river Dordogne and the breakfast I was completely spoiled for choice.
Heat in the rooms. Very noisy passage.
I was disappointed with the rest. The window opens directly onto the road, when you open the window, you are directly on the sidewalk, no privacy and security, so impossible to leave the window open despite the heat. Lack of soundproofing. Lots of noise coming from the street but also from the SPA early in the morning. The cleanliness of the bathtub left something to be desired... it would be nice to have a refrigerator in the room. Some lamps did not work.

Not very warm welcome upon our arrival. Very disappointing room which does not correspond at all to the photos presented on the Booking site, old-fashioned room and bathroom, basic comfort which gives the impression of a return to the past. Also very noisy, lacks air conditioning. Positive point, correct menu even if it remains a little expensive.

Room renovated, very clean, with an effort for the decoration. Very good quality of bedding, a fan provided. Mixed reception, a little cold and too haughty for what remains a small provincial hotel. TB on the other hand for the chambermaid, friendly and very efficient. She alone raises the average.
Good welcome and good food The hotel is in its original state and could do with a bit of a makeover. The rooms on the street side are very noisy because of the busy road.
We stayed the night of July 27 to 28. It was very hot in the room despite the fan (it's July, that's normal). There was no shutter or curtain on a window so you were up at sunrise... The receptionist's solution was to put a cushion in front of the window: not very funny for a night at 135 euros... Very disappointed. ..

Clean room but nothing like all the photos I've seen. Funny anecdote: a very nice intern to whom I asked if I could drink my beer (which she had just served me) in the main room (I couldn't see any other place to work for a few minutes with my computer, my room being too small). She then turns to a young man who looks at me askance while smoking his cigarette and who obviously finds my question incongruous. He doesn't deign to approach me to talk to me and is content, 15 meters away, to say "No sir! We're drinking beer at the bar. The room is the restaurant (there are lots of small empty tables) I comply without fuss ;) and I tell myself that his Dad who manages the hotel should explain a few things to him about the "customer approach". total (I don't care much about it actually). Suggestion: go through a hotel management school and learn some common expressions towards customers. I will no longer set foot in this establishment which is not worth it. three stars.

Very friendly welcome, the spa is superb and the breakfast royal.

Shower with yellowish traces of soap, almost clogged sink, traces on the walls, very low pressure and Methuselah hair dryer…. The bedding is good and the welcome is friendly.
Tiny room on the 3rd floor without elevator of course. The value for money is really not good.

Room (comfort on the river side) not huge but quite functional, clean and pleasant with bathroom still not huge but also quite functional. Pleasant welcome, really good breakfast with a good variety of products of apparent good quality. As for the SPA, despite a problem with the temperature of the jacuzzi (slightly low) we had a very good time. So overall a very pleasant stay!

Lots of malfunctions in the bedroom: no TV, one curtain on two... split sink shelf, bare bedside table lamp... no apology or reduction from the manager!! It's hard to accept this in a 3-star hotel.....
Arrival at 3 p.m. as indicated on the site and the owner tells me that it's not before 4 p.m. so 1 hour outside in the cold. The same goes for departure, I am made to leave at 11 a.m. even though it says 12 p.m. on the site. I specially chose this accommodation for early arrival and late departure!! Well actually failed!! And professional meeting by video impossible to do as a result. Price too expensive for the service, and accommodation in a maid's room. Anyway next time, I'll go to another city.

We come every year as a group, the hotel is very well maintained, the staff very professional and friendly. Of course, as we get older, an elevator to access the upper floor would be welcome, but the architecture of the place is probably complicated to accommodate this request. An exterior elevator perhaps?!

No insulation, the impression of being in the same room as the neighbors! A high price compared to other hotels I usually go to. In short, meh!
Very disappointed between the photo on the reservation and the room on the 3rd floor without elevator, nice when you arrive with suitcases for 12 days of travel... Tiny "maid's" room in its own right, you barely move around the bed all that for €110!!. Icy reception at the restaurant ditto during the service fortunately the meal was good and a much friendlier welcome from a lady in the morning. In short, all this for a stay at 216€ all inclusive, I don't at all validate the value for money... plus we talked with other couples who had renovated rooms at 80€ so that's the package!! In short, for a 3-star accommodation in France, go your way!!

Clean and functional but the room I had was road side. Street lighting very bright in my room unless I closed shutter and/or curtains. No air-conditioning, just a fan so it felt like sleeping in a sauna.

The food however was excellent and served rapidly.
Air conditioning in the rooms would be nice and a pity that you have to pay for your parking space in the garage because parking is a bit tight despite some outdoor space nearby otherwise very nice view from the restaurant on the terrace over the Dordogne I recommend this restaurant
The room was comfortable and very clean but no air conditioning, only a very noisy fan. I had breakfast at 9.15 am, the unoccupied tables on the terrace were set for lunch; same thing on the veranda. I felt like I was in the way.

Too noisy ! The room overlooked the street and all night long the noise of cars or young revelers... plus the noise of the wooden floor creaking at the slightest movement of the neighbors on the floor above, starting at 4:45 a.m.!!!!
The rooms are not sufficiently soundproofed….you can hear the shower and the flushing of the neighboring room…too bad. We had a room on the street side when we had booked on the Dordogne side… too bad

The opening time of the restaurant kitchen could have been communicated at check in. We arrived late and could have eaten right away but by the time we had come back from getting the room the kitchen had closed and only salads and deserts were available.
In the beginning the room smelled a bit like cigarettes and we first had to air out.
The toilet was in a seperate room that was so small it was not possible to sit down after closing the door. Had to sit down first and move the legs away in order to be able to close the door.
At breakfast used tables did not get cleared while we ate and some products had run out and did not get refilled.

Fortunately, I had printed my reservation because they wanted to make me pay twice for the breakfasts. It took a GPS to find the room. Upon arrival, we did not have any information. A bathroom of 2 m2. Some hygiene concerns in the room: cobwebs - malfunctioning blackout blind - stains on the bedspread. I don't know what dish I ate.
Very pleasant stopover in this establishment with a warm welcome and very comfortable rooms. A restaurant worthy of a gourmet. A varied and hearty breakfast. I highly recommend !!

No soundproofing, I heard cars all night. The alarm clock, the shower, the neighbour's toilet. The bathroom door was stuck or damaged so shower with the door open with the cold coming in. The creaking floor. Hot water that takes a very long time to heat up and then changes temperature for no reason
