Lovely period hotel in a great location very much in the old town area. Liked the period furniture and generous room size.
Great hotel. Typical Alsatian hotel. Local food and plenty of it. Hearty breakfast with choice and Alsatian. Very nice team.
The staff were professional and friendly and fixed an error I had made when reserving the room with absolutely no problem at all. The room was clean, with a nice view, and excellent amenities. I especially appreciated the hot water kettle and selection of instant coffee and tea that was provided. The room itself appeared to be specially arranged to accommodate wheel chair users, with a raised toilet and barrier-free access to the bathroom and shower. While not a wheel-chair user myself it looked to be very well thought out. All-in-all, the combination of price, location, and service will be hard to beat for anyone looking to vacation in Strasbourg.

Very charming hotel in great location. Bathroom wasn’t great - shower would only point in 1 direction and complete lack of privacy. Hairdryer was useless.
However loved it otherwise and would definitely recommend / stay again!
We spent a night at the Golden Deer. We appreciated its location close to points of interest and yet quiet. Very clean room and comfortable bedding.
