Great discovery, we appreciated this warm welcome, we felt at home. Thank you to this lady who served us, very pleasant and always available. Homemade family cooking, it was simply very good. Spacious room, even if it dates, it gives a taste of vintage and it is especially very clean, that's what you have to look at first. Beautiful address where we will certainly return.

Warm welcome, the town of Tarascon is part of my family history. I enjoyed this peaceful stay, conducive to reflection....
When we arrived, the person at the reception seemed very overwhelmed and took almost 20 minutes to give us our room key. Afterwards, we went to the restaurant in the evening and to my surprise I found a plastic part in my cassoulet, homemade cassoulet therefore made on site the waitress took this plastic part went to the kitchen never came back to apologize. I find it shameful At the end of this, when I wanted to pay my hotel restaurant bill, they were unable to take my contact hotel checks. I had to pay it by credit card. for a lodging in France. It is frankly shameful.
I stayed at the Hotel for three nights. The hotel is located close to the city center and a few shops. The room is "small", clean and functional for a short stay (if too much luggage it risks blocking the passage ...) On the other hand, the decoration of the hotel is a little old-fashioned and the bathroom could do with being refreshed. Overall, it is a decent hotel for a short stay when you do not stay all day in the room. Note that the staff is very pleasant and attentive.

Very nice hotel - with a room overlooking the river. Very good dinner and breakfast.
Although I had booked on booking.com and received confirmation, the hotelier refused me access to the room arguing that I had to pay more. He had just understood that a group of cyclists had just arrived in town and surely wanted to maximize their profit even if it meant not honoring their commitments. I quote him: “-Booking they say what they want, that’s how it is and that’s it.” No search for a solution. I had to make do and had to cycle again in the night. Furthermore, the attitude and words of the hotelier lead me to believe him to be dishonest or extremely indelicate. He even refuses to come back to me to explain himself. Making people like that work is not moral. Don't do it.
Room ok but dim, very nice view. Bad restaurant, cassoulet too greasy and without consistency and poorly cooked fries.
A lovely hotel with very welcoming and helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant and a good buffet breakfast the next morning. A most enjoyable stay.

Hotel in its original form, old. Very basic equipment. Bedding to be reviewed, bathroom and sanitary facilities really old.
Several experiences from May to October 2023 allow me to say this, with all kindness: an establishment that was once well reputed but unfortunately today in decline despite the efforts of the people involved on a daily basis to accompany/support an elderly management diminished by health problems . We will have to think about "handing over", it would be a shame if an establishment with such potential disappeared from the region. Opinion written to explain the overall "Correct" rating that I give it
Hotel very nicely located. Motorcycle was in a locked garage. We ate a very tasty trout in the restaurant.

Unwelcome, borderline unpleasant upon my arrival. Extremely dirty room: lots of dust everywhere, even on the shelves where we put clothes, unsanitary shower siphon, hair, unchanged sheets and stained blanket..Nauseous smell of cat urine in the room. We took photos of each corner as well as the sheets.

Liked · The location in the heart of the city Did not like · Cleaning not carried out when we arrived at 12 noon, possibility of returning from 2 p.m. but the cleaning was far from satisfactory (sheep of dust, hair on the ground , dust above cabinets). The bathroom equipment is poorly fixed (toilet paper holder, shower screen). The hotel is very aging (paint peeling off in the bathroom, unstable table, multiple vending machines in the useless bathroom, poorly washed floor, dirty and old bedspread. The receptionist's welcome is not up to date. height, not helpful or understanding of our expectations. The manager is more complacent but not helped by her team. The photos on the BOOKING site did not represent reality at all!!!

The hotel manager was rude and arrogant. The hotel closes daily at 9:30 p.m., after which nobody is allowed in or out. The website says the hotel is open 24 hours. The manager told us to have our dog pee in the shower after 9:30pm as we are not allowed out. The room had no air conditioning and the room was very hot. You can't leave the window open because the main street in front of the hotel is very noisy. The room was renovated but there was a lot of mold in the shower. Breakfast was very basic. None of the employees spoke English, although the hotel website states that the hotel speaks Spanish and English in addition to French.

Hotel and meals to avoid
Everything is perfect, the comfort, the calm, the friendliness of the staff. The evening meal taken in the restaurant, with a wide view of the river, was excellent, as was the breakfast buffet. Our friends and we enjoyed this establishment very much and we recommend it without hesitation We are already thinking of returning for another stay
