Lake Genin is a haven in the middle of the fir trees in Haut-Bugey. You feel very far from civilization. In fact, mobile phone reception is poor there. The hotel has excellent Wi-Fi, the rooms are very well appointed, the breakfast is plentiful, the grilled meats are tasty. The staff takes great care of their customers. If I had to give some areas for improvement, I would say: a real sauce in the salads, and olives marinated in herbs.
A great family weekend! We had taken the room on the Lake side which offers a magnificent view of the lake. There were 4 of us (with 2 children aged 4 and 6) and the beds added for the children are very comfortable. The room is spacious and very clean. We enjoyed the fondue at the restaurant and the children loved the steak and chips (perfect cooking, not the sole as is often the case for children's menus). I would like to highlight the quality of the welcome and the service which greatly contributed to making our weekend perfect! All the staff are very attentive and with a smile! We will come back with great pleasure!!

Excellent welcome, very good food, magnificent setting, perfect for those who wish to live an experience in contact with nature, far from the hubbub of the city.
An ideal location for total relaxation in the middle of greenery. A team always available, helpful, smiling and friendly. Cooking the meat in the fireplace in front of the customer adds a warm touch to this good atmosphere and the dishes are good and well cooked. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Address to keep carefully for pleasure.
