One of my worst experiences! The hotel is aging as is the room. The cleaning needs to be reviewed. The bedding is very old and uncomfortable as possible, the linen is poorly dried and smells bad. Presence of a single glazing which lets in the noise of the road and the cold. No soundproofing, you can hear absolutely everything that is happening in the room next door. The worst thing about all this is that there was no heating or hot water. All this for 80 euros per night without any gesture on the part of the receptionist. Incredible...

Room overall very basic with dull furniture.
Hotel somewhat dilapidated... No heating in the room, so a bit chilly! Mattress with springs on the surface, it would be time to think about changing the bedding. No drain in the bathtub? Maybe it was done on purpose so that we couldn't take a bath?! Almost no light in the bathroom. In short!
Very convenient location to stay overnight after a great meal in the new restaurant in Chasseneuil sur Bonnieure at a good price.
No shower, mattress too soft, noisy room, no double glazing
The hotel is generally extremely run down and unclean. The first thing you are going to your room is a very stained stair carpet. The room itself was very dusty with cobwebs and the toilet seat was disgustingly marked. The shower was held onto the wall by a knotted piece of plastic bag and the toilet roll holder was hanging from the wall. I had to clean the remote control as this was completely clogged up with dirt. The standard was completely unacceptable

Room booked online for one evening during a romantic weekend. Unfortunately, when we arrived at dusk, we noticed that fairground rides were installed right in the parking lot in front of the hotel. The music is very loud. The hotel is completely dark and appears closed. Pushing the front door, surprised, it is open but there is no one at reception. At the end of the corridor a glow behind a door catches my attention. Two women are dining in front of a television in a room that is also turned off. One of them gets up, checks and confirms our reservation. Obviously, we are the only guests even though the website told us that there were only two rooms available. We learn that the fairgrounds have been there for a week and that the music stops at 1:30 a.m. The manager tells us that by closing the shutters it will be quieter. We go upstairs, quite doubtful, and discover the room. A shock ! It is very large, but the wallpapers probably date from 1975 and the furniture must have been known to Commissioner Maigret! By opening the windows to close the shutters, we see that it is single glazing (in 2023!!) whose soundproofing and thermal insulation quality is equivalent to newspaper. At this moment, the fair's sound system broadcasts full-power bass which makes the glass vibrate by resonance like a drum! We then instantly decided to leave this hotel. We complained to the manager since she could have informed us of the inconvenience of the fair by email, but she clearly did not think about it, or even did it knowingly in order to cash in on the reservation despite our hasty departure. The photos on the site exaggerately embellish the gloomy, old-fashioned and out-of-date reality of the decoration. We did not try the restaurant or breakfast although they were planned. The owner must really question himself to modernize his establishment if he does not want to scare away his customers.
As a repair for one night, it's fine. Relatively dilapidated hotel. Large room facing the street, without insulating glazing. Very good cleanliness overall. Mattress in several pieces! ! ! Decent meals, nothing more.. Noisy.
A rejuvenating evening stopover both for the quality of the service and the meals (creative and tasty!) and for the kindness of the owners of the place. We had a great time and rested well to get back on the road fresh and rested. Thank you again for your welcome!
Room with outdated decoration. Cobwebs. The toilets were patched up and the shower curtain repulsive with filth. Fortunately, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff somewhat compensate for the state of the hotel.
Basic hotel Not very warm welcome
Pleasant hotel. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Simple and friendly welcome. Very good quality of meals. Possibility to take meals in a very pleasant little inner courtyard.
Very clean rooms with a good shower. Looked straight at the opposite parking lot where it was quiet after 7 pm. Evening person was reasonable with long overkept greetings and half a trout. My pork was tender with a scoop of curry rice. The biscuits surrounding the Apricot Charlotte were completely soaked and flat. Made far too long in advance. The food STILL NEEDS TO BE WORKED. GOOD LUCK. The service and it Must be said was VERY FRIENDLY AND CORRECT.
Small family hotel. We feel "like at home". Very warm welcome and service. We were a group of 6 old friends, who had come to say goodbye to a very sick friend and this warm and family welcome did us good.
