Very special experience! are we in Switzerland or in France? Doesn't matter, everything was ok
I didn't get a response to the 2 emails... The room doesn't look like the photos on booking; the photos show a very cute room, very cozy. But none of that! It's absolutely disappointing. The room is outdated, old, shabby. The radiator doesn't work (even though it's freezing outside!...), the hair dryer doesn't work. I called the day before if we could come earlier than 5pm (!), I was told that yes, we would just have to call the number at reception and they would come and open the door for us. But at 4pm, I called, no one came. At 5:15pm, she arrived. And not very welcoming for a Christmas on December 25th. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. I stayed 2 nights instead of the 3 planned. (I had the minimum with 3 nights). I stayed 2 nights because I was too disappointed. I was charged for 2 nights: Only thing correct….
Original hotel on the border. Simple rooms, but absolutely adequate. Good restaurant. Safe storage for a bicycle in the garage.
Very old hotel not very maintained all the carpets on the stairs are torn poor breakfast in a pitiful room, for the welcome nothing exceptional, this hotel lives on the achievements of the parents of a time long ago just see the photos and really very pompous cinema style poster. Fortunately the restaurants were very good and the waitresses very friendly. That’s a shame!!!!
Very friendly and pleasant team despite our arrival in the middle of service (restaurant).
Straddling the Franco-Swiss border, this establishment is warm and welcoming. We strongly recommend it both for its history and its geographical position and for the quality of its meals. A big thank you to the owners and employees of this hotel who are constantly caring.
