Disappointment upon arrival: room in an "annex" with comfort and presentation a notch below what one might hope for in an honest two-star hotel but totally unworthy of a four-star hotel. Fortunately, dinner at the restaurant was perfect.

High quality and inventive table and enchanting environment

I always find it a shame that when a hotel is not full, the staff does not try to give the best possible room (size, view, comfort, or even upgrade) to encourage the customer to come back. Cleaning a room takes the same amount of time regardless of the view or comfort.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the evening food was exceptional. Unfortunately the breakfast was not such a pleasant experience. The person on duty made no attempt to communicate with us so no explanation regarding the use of some of the equipment. We arrived at breakfast in good time, approximately 9am but unfortunately there was very little bread left and despite the person on duty being aware of this no more was brought out. We had a very pleasant accessible room but unfortunately the approach was extremely steep and I found it almost impossible to push my husband, in the wheelchair up to the room. We were advised to take it more slowly!!!!! I accept the terrain cannot be changed but maybe people asking for an accessible room should be notified of this difficulty.

We had a great time. The frame is very nice. Personally I don't like the automatic lighting in the toilets, it is uncomfortable at night. Arrival at breakfast at 8:15 a.m. not all the products offered were in place.

During our trip, the services offered as well as the location were excellent. The only things that were less good were the room which had cobwebs in the corners, the lack of air conditioning was felt with the heat and the absence of shutters on the windows because the curtains are not all. completely obscuring. The restaurant is also very good because they were able to adapt to my diet and I thank them for that.

No complaints. Arriving later than expected, an envelope was left for us with directions to the room. The Valentine's Day menu was super good, the staff was very friendly.

hotel with a splendid location and nice exterior. The rooms I would qualify as rather 'spartan' as to finishing.
The staff was rather young but very friendly, but could improve a bit further as to general approach of the customers.
Whereas the diners were exceptionally good, the breakfast was not up to standaard of a 4 class hotel.

upon your arrival you know that you are going to have a wonderful evening the smile at the reception the kindness and kindness of the staff including that of the restaurant, very PRO staff the table is excellent the chef offers you original flavors everything is well presented to you salivate as soon as the plates arrive! the rooms are spacious, very clean, very comfortable bedding and after this evening you will discover a delicious breakfast unfortunately you have to leave but with only one desire to return!..

It feels a bit unwelcoming with the gate closed and we didn’t get our check in code till after we arrived!
It’s also quite expensive and still not completely clean.

The location was perfect and setting was stunning and grandiose. We loved the cascading waterfalls and cocktails in the lounge with exposed stone, rough Timbers, and plush sofas. The staff was very accommodating. We missed our train and arrived late. They made sure we checked in and personally escorted us to our room. We requested a late drink and the bar tender greeted us with a smile and ensured we were tucked in for the night. The accommodations were cozy, comfortable, and clean. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to lounge by the pool or take advantage of their table games/tennis.

We have had a super welcome, a great room and further also great service.

Stay booked with Logis de France, with an excellent top-of-the-range service. The room was comfortable with all amenities, the swimming pool was nice after a long day of travelling, and the gourmet menu was just excellent. Very nice home.

Mail with the access data to the hotel came 5 hours after arrival. We had to wait 2 hours in this heat! After finally being able to check in we wanted to order an aperitif. But...no one was there. Neither in the restaurant nor at the receptions! In the evening we did not want the dishes to be brought too quickly because we wanted to take our time with this good meal .... which unfortunately did not work. As soon as one plate was gone, the next arrived. Damage....

We were attracted by a last minute offer online (€139 instead of €220); once there, we discovered that it was a basic type room, the price of which goes up to a maximum of 180 €... Which seems very expensive despite everything. In short, a little disappointment, we expected a typical and luxurious room (220 € per night announced), and we found ourselves in a room that could not be more basic, without charm.
As a bonus, we only had half a roll of toilet paper at our disposal.
But all this was almost forget by one of the best meals I had the opportunity to eat, at the hotel restaurant.

Doors slamming at night!! Swimming in the pool with the robot cleaner, internet photos do not correspond to reality, no air conditioning, poor view from the room, very high price! Unpleasant bathroom timer. Good point excellent meal, breakfast also, friendliness of the staff. Looks more like a 3 star than a 4 star.

An idyllic place lulled by the sound of a natural waterfall, a warm welcome, an exceptional dinner and a fabulous wine list.

C'est un endroit enchanteur/enchanté où règne le calme ; la nature y est belle et les promenades (cascade de tuf, retour en suivant la rivière jusqu'au court de tennis, cascade sur la propriété) sont très agréables. Piscine et transats appréciés.
Nous avons occupé la "chambre classique" n° 17 : spacieuse et bien ventilée car chambre d'angle avec 2 fenêtres, lit king size, frigo, bouilloire, ventilateur, rideaux opaques ; sanitaires TB. Excellente connexion wifi. (TV présente mais pas utilisée).
La vue sur les falaises est très impressionnante en soirée avec les derniers rayons de soleil.
Parking sur site. billard américain, babyfoot, court de tennis.

A very special country place to stay. Charming.

We highly recommend this lovely family run hotel in an historic building surrounded by forests and streams. The restaurant meal was outstanding. We had a delicious tasting menu paired with local wines all served by charming staff. The outdoor swimming pool and tennis court complete great facilities for a truly relaxing tranquil holiday
