Comfortable and clean room located in a beautiful outbuilding.
Sehr schöne Lage, super Zimmer und hervorragendes Restaurant
The hotel is very well located, on a human scale, close to Marols, a small, decorated and picturesque village. Very nice renovation of this castle, nothing is missing for the comfort of the residents with a bistronomic restaurant hosted by friendly waiters. Some difficulties with the management of the heating but quickly resolved. We will certainly return during the nice days to hike in the surrounding paths.
Overall correct, but looking in detail, there is progress to be made, with not much more it would have been perfect. But overall good value for money.

The room was not ready when we arrived, we had to wait. In the room, the toilets were not very clean, as someone had used them before our arrival. No bottle of water, we had to go and ask for it. We were told, as if we were talking about a great vintage, I'll find out... On the second request, after dinner, the person at reception, having changed, kindly replied, I'll get you one right away. In the bathroom, the box of tissues was empty. We had come to this hotel for our anniversary and to take our minds off things after difficult times and indeed the place, so soothing, did us good, except that when we were leaving, I was stupid enough to pick a sprig of lavender that was sticking out of a trimmed clump and there a Cerberus fell on us with a tone above contempt, his gaze almost reflected hatred towards us. We are both sensitive, it left its mark on us, on the way back in the car we tried to recover. from this moment of aggression
Very disappointing welcome and departure. Very cold, absolutely not courteous. No one asked us if our stay had gone well…. Room 205 dirty. Hair in the sink. Lots of hair on the floor. Traces of urine on the wall next to the toilet…. Reservation for a superior room… it is not superior at all!!
Everything was excellent, except for a very bad experience at breakfast!! Arrived after a group, there was practically nothing left and I was told that this is what there is!!, and basically breakfast was extremely limited in choice!!. We also asked for a vegetarian option which was good but very simple and still small in quantity..I recognize that you have to save money but when you get to the point of stinginess, it's a shame and disappointing.
Very good experience for a one-night break away from everyday life that allows you to take a break. Small downsides for the room where we found packets of crisps under the bed. We were upgraded since there was a wedding and our first room given above their room. At the restaurant, the glasses were dirty (lipstick marks) and the order was not taken properly. Despite this, we recommend the place.
The site is beautiful and the rooms really comfortable, tastefully decorated and particularly clean. I recommend the generous breakfast with good quality local products.
Very good food and very comfortable room in a magnificent setting. For golf lovers, superb practice in the park
