We wanted to use a good accommodation in France to pay but the owner used our visa card given as guarantee when booking to pay without asking our opinion. Refusal of the latter to make a reimbursement to regularize and be paid with the voucher. Breakfast room too small (wait 5 minutes to sit down), limited food and quickly running out, pastries finished during our visit,… Low cost bedding, the pillow couldn't be more flat. Layout of an ill-suited telephone holder next to the toilets. Weak wifi connection in our room at the end of the corridor.
Unfortunately we booked on Sunday through the Logis Hotel website and received an email to say our booking for Sunday night was confirmed. On arrival the hotel was locked up with only a telephone number to call someone. We rang and spoke to a very apologetic lady who said that our booking had not gone through as they did not take bookings on a Sunday. There was nothing she could do to give us a room and we had no option but to look elsewhere. Sadly a bad experience for us. We have had contact from Logis since then apologising but as we were in the process of travelling back to the UK were unable to respond
Sadly the offer of a free breakfast when next in France, which may not be for some time, did not feel to be a suitable recompense for the hassle and expense we experienced
Unfreundliches Personal und sehr kleine Zimmer. Alles sehr abgenützt und zT defekt. Kunden lässt man 1/2 Stunde vor der Tür im Regen stehen, obwohl die Empfangsdame da ist...
Everything was very clean. However the room was very small with incredibly poor lighting. No evening food available. Breakfast was poorly organised and served in a crowded and small room. Raw eggs available but no clear means to cook them. A lot of the available serving space taken up by a pancake machine that nobody used. Slow replacement of meats and bread after being used up.
Very good bedding. Room and bathroom immaculate. Very calm. Just a little parking issue as some drivers take two for one vehicle.
Decent hotel on the edge of Chalons. Very welcoming and kind staff. The decor. Retro styling of the common rooms is quite fun and off the beaten path. The rooms just need to be refreshed a bit. Breakfast also ok. Ideal for a stopover in the region. Free and guarded parking (locked at night). All in all, a pleasant and practical hotel for a stopover in the region.
The room is very welcoming, the 140 bed a little less, the mattress needs to be changed!

Unfortunately, the hotel does not have Wi-Fi and there was neither green nor black tea for breakfast, even though I expressed this wish. Secure car park which is locked with a gate from 7pm.
