Unpleasant owner, smile optional. Old hotel with very poor soundproofing. Good breakfast. Rough and unironed bath towel. Too bad because it is very well located. Everything needs to be refreshed!!
The police was dirty not sure when it was last cleaned. The lights in the corridor did not work and it was pitch black trying to find a room. We did not feel safe if there was a fire if we had not driven. For 11 hours, we would've gone and found a more suitable hotel but found that it would've been unsafe to drive any further

Ein unaufmerksamer Empfang der Gäste, keine Englischkenntnisse. Nur ein Tuch im Zimmer, das eigentlich nur auf den Boden vor der Dusche gehört! Im Bad kein Becher zum Spülen oder für die Zahnbürste. Eine dünne Decke, sodass ich nachts gefroren habe.
We had a great time, very well located. The hotel needs to be updated. A fresh start wouldn't be bad. But the bathrooms and the rooms are good. The breakfast as well as the very very hearty meal. We enjoyed the Normandy crepe and fries. A small note in the menu should be added that the Normandy crepe comes with homemade fries and green salad. Because we didn't know, we started with a vegetable soup starter. So we couldn't eat the home fries 😭 They were excellent. For breakfast service on the board written 7:30 a.m. on weekdays. But scheduled for 8:15 a.m. The day of our departure we left without breakfast too bad Small suggestion: breakfasts should start rather early. At your colleagues' house it starts at 6:00 a.m. Above all, we come to visit Lisieux. Starting the visits early would be better.
Well received, I had a room on the top floor, pleasant, perfect bathroom. The walls and floors in the common areas are not inviting but the room has bedding from another age, relaxing. Just that I felt uncomfortable for the young woman Laeticia who is called upon at all times by the authoritarian and strong voice of the owner. It was stressful, embarrassing, I put myself in the place of this Laeticia, who seemed to love this relationship and her work. So much the better 😅
