Magnificent establishment with owners and employees who know how to welcome

Great rooms, delicious food and beautiful surroundings.
The boss, a Dutchman, did not want to put the points on my Logis de France card.
On its website, this establishment is classified 4 stars FOR ALL ROOMS. The reality is very different. The site does not say that there are two types of accommodation: one in the main building and another in annex buildings. The latter is far from deserving a 4-star classification. We booked a comfort room with breakfast for 2 people, the other services (well-being & Spa) were not of interest to us. We are directed to an annex building, not contiguous, where we discover a building whose access staircase is quite difficult, even for a 100% valid person, then another staircase and then the staircase which gives access in the room. The latter is correct but, no way to contact reception (use of your own telephone is obligatory), no welcome tray (which still exists, even in a 3 star), no direct access to the switch which illuminates the very dark staircase to exit the room. Lighting in the bedroom that varies in color each time the TV control is used. To summarize, we were disappointed with this choice since the announcement of this hotel was supposed to offer us comfort that we did not have. In our previous trips we always found comfort we hoped for, even in a 3 star.
Friendly and very helpful people. Had a very nice week. Beautiful surroundings with many hiking opportunities, but there are also fun day trips to do. Definitely recommended and we will definitely come back here again.
