Restaurant Château de la Dame Blanche

Excellent welcome, very beautiful and charming environment and building. But no coffee maker or kettle in the room, bathroom not very practical. Breakfast is expensive but of good quality. However, some of the cups provided are too small for anything other than a short coffee. The staff in charge of breakfast, to whom we asked for larger cups, curtly replied that there were no others. If the welcome was really very pleasant and friendly, this does not reflect the state of mind of the entire staff.

Perfect stay. My room was very nice with very comfortable bedding. The staff is really very professional and really very pleasant. Let's not even talk about the meals which are simply exceptional.... In short, a magical interlude in the middle of a week of business trips. I will come back as soon as possible. A big thank you

A quiet, cozy place to stay. Aim for a room in the main building. Breakfast could be more imaginative. Some items weren't replenished (scrambled eggs were out by 8:00 a.m.).

Top-notch hotel and restaurant. Magnificent estate. The setting is idyllic, with the castle and its tall trees. A beautiful blend of authenticity and modernity. We loved the restaurant; everything was fine and refined, the produce fresh and tasty. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful setting, lovely friendly greeting and the accommodation was amazing. Lovely large room with huge comfortable bed and large shower. The Chateau is set in stunning grounds and we ate outside overlooking the lawn. We opted to accept the set menu dinner and were really looking forward to the treat as it was the final evening of our holiday. Sadly the main course was very disappointing which took the edge off what would have been the perfect stay.

No towels in the bathroom, curtain stuck, no trash in the toilet.

A wonderful moment, but ruined by the person at breakfast who never cracks a smile, looking at us like an intruder who has come into her home. Her behavior of climbing on a customer's chair with her shoes on to put coffee in the machine, of leaving the package on the side. She has things to review given the standing of your establishment. On the other hand, I would like to highlight the quality of the staff serving the restaurant, impeccable and kind. A pleasure

If you book a chateau and then end up in a place with poor taste and quality, you'll not only be disappointed, you'll be angry!

Hotel well located for my professional meeting

Maybe it could be good for some people to have a choice of servings in the restaurant. Personally I would prefer to choose between 3, 4, 5, 6 servings at the restaurant, because I sometimes are more hungry than other times ; )

Very nice park and nice old building as such. Could do more out of it. All in all good for one night and for the fair price. Service could be more customer friendly and more professional.

Any excuse will be good to go back there.

A very beautiful room in a castle (from the 19th century?) in a majestic park guaranteeing the calm and serenity of the place. The breakfast offering a good choice was composed of very high quality products (whether it be the cold meats, the cheeses, the breads, the fruit juices and everything else) made me regret even more that the restaurant was closed the previous evening. I will gladly come back to discover it.

Very warm welcome and very comfortable room with small terrace and garden furniture. Very good meal and very decent breakfast.

The location is great, the personnel is very nice and food was amazing.
When it comes to facilities tho we were a bit disappointed. For a 4* Hotel we were expecting a bit more quality and cleanness of the rooms and facilities. We have been informed after booking that there would be a wedding on the weekend so restaurant was closed and at 2am we have been woken up by loud drunk people trying to enter our room, we had to get up and ask them to be more respectful.

A no-nonsense stopover with a gourmet and refined dinner, a perfect and comfortable room in a magnificent setting. A pleasant and warm welcome and staff. I highly recommend it!

We had a great evening: Musical evening: The musicians were excellent, the musical atmosphere was great. And what about the menu? A real treat. The dishes, the wines, everything was perfect. And I can't forget the service; the waitresses were also top-notch.

We stayed at the hotel twice within nine days. On our first stay (Sunday/Monday), we had a room in the main building with an elevator. On our second stay (Tuesday/Wednesday), we had a very nice room in the annex, but on the first floor without an elevator. Not ideal for people with limited mobility.

Always perfect for everything, a haven of peace where we eat very well.

Beautiful garden, the staff is charming and attentive. The rooms are large and very well decorated. Very good bedding. Excellent restaurant. The only small downside in the Victor Hugo part is that there are sewer smells coming up.

I regularly stay at this establishment during my business trips to Besançon and it is always a particularly enriching experience. You stand out in relation to the character of the building, the service qualities of your staff and their professionalism, the originality of the decoration, the products offered but also in relation to the prices charged. You know how to take care of your guests. It is a real pleasure to benefit from your know-how...

I will no longer take a Prestige room, which is not worth the price difference. Very noisy Prague room. Inconvenient shower,

Still the best evening stopover ever in France, and this stay after stay... Bravo for your consistency!

A preferred hotel for entomology enthusiasts!! An impressive quantity of insects living or not in the room. So I go to see the receptionist, who is also probably passionate about flies and other bedbugs, who explains to me that it's all completely normal. If it ever bothers me I have the right to remove them... Is this a prank? Unfortunately no... Never again!!

Everything is perfect as always

Beautiful grounds, evening meals and breakfast are very good. On the other hand, the price of drinks... A bottle of Coke for 7.50! That's the price of a glass of wine. An espresso for 5.50! It's more expensive than in Paris! The redone room, very good, however the single glazed windows, all the outside noises are quite annoying, I'm talking about a stable which is located just below the windows. Overall very good hotel, quality service.

Everything was perfect. A superb setting. A very good team, smile, advice. A divine meal full of finesse. A spacious room.

Breakfast was poor, nothing was refilled, selection was limited. Breakfast only possible on an 8 day, unfortunately we were not informed about this, poor service :-(

The room reserved for two people was in fact designed and equipped for only one. - insufficient equipment (only 1 set of bathroom linen, 1 single armchair, lack of storage space) - no privacy possible (bathroom open to the bedroom, WC without interior closure). Restaurant inaccessible until the end of September (many seminars). Beautiful park (deserves to be better maintained). The “4 star” rating of the establishment does not seem justified.
