Well received, comfortable, very clean functional room, no elevator on the other hand, quiet and well located hotel No possibility of having breakfast before 8am, too bad! Perfectly positioned in the walled town. Great for for cyclists with a logged storage room. Not so great for cars, you can park outside to load/unload but have to move the car to a QPark for an overnight stay. Not cheap.
Breakfast was fresh and tasty with some lovely touches such as making your own crepes, plenty of fresh fruit salad and excellent bread.
Rooms are comfortable. Not great if you struggle with stairs though, we were on the third floor and that was 57 narrow steps.

I spent a very pleasant day, at the foot of the ocean, and in the small, less touristy alleys. This small family hotel is very warm, the staff is smiling and very attentive. I can only recommend it.

I loved my stay at this establishment. Ideally located at the foot of the ramparts and the beach. I had a room with a sea view, incredible. Very welcoming and smiling staff. I recommend 100% and if I return to Saint Malo one day I will choose the same hotel.

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location. It can get noisy at night and is a little worn in places but I would expect this given the price and where it is. Hospitality was great and check in and out flawless.

The location is ideal, the staff very helpful, the room clean, in short, everything was very good.
I really appreciated the proximity to the beach and the free provision of a towel when I went for a swim. It was also very convenient for the ferry terminal. The bed was comfortable and room was clean, no mean feat when sand is so close! The lady at reception was friendly and helpful. There is definitely a knack needed to work the room door key and judging by the noise in the corridor I wasn’t the only one who struggled:). It was quite noisy in the evening due to revellers outside the property but that’s not the fault of the hotel, just the inevitable consequence of such a central location, and it had settled by 1am.

An excellent inexpensive hotel in the middle of the good bit of Saint Malo. Parking should be looked at very carefully, but that's the case everywhere in the greater Saint Malo area.
Excellent welcome, pleasant staff who gave me the key to the room upon my arrival. Quality bedding, kettle available and the icing on the cake is a room with a sea view.

Unfortunately we were only staying for one night which was a shame as the hotel is in a great location and the room was very comfortable with a sea view. We aim to return.

Great hotel with clean, modern room and very beautiful sea view (magnificent). Special mention for waking up facing the sea. The room is very well equipped. Access to the premises is also very good. The staff is very attentive and very pleasant. Breakfast is right opposite with plenty of choice and very good products. I highly recommend !
Our room was very clean and bright, and the bed comfortable. It was great to have the noon checkout and free luggage storage at the cafe opposite while we went to the beach. The proprietors at the cafe were very congenial.
However, I was very surprised to see that the toilet is in a separate room from the washroom. I have never encountered this before in many years of travel throughout Europe, the UK, Asia and North America. I have an ostomy - a medical procedure that requires flushing out my stoma each time I use the toilet. For this process, it is convenient to have the toilet in the washroom. I suggest that you indicate on your booking sites that the toilet is separate, especially for Morth Americans.
Estancia muy agradable en ese bonito hotel con ubicación perfecta. The house has plenty of views of the walls and the sea so you can enjoy more of the experience. It's loaded with a lot of facilities, including permits to stay in the house and we'll pay for it later. 100% recommended

Lovely hotel. Clean and comfortable room. Never more than a 10 minute walk back to the hotel (if one stayed within the walled area).
Friendly staff and great breakfast with lovely view of the sea through the wall that backs the hotel.
There are a few steep stairs to enter the main building, and rooms are in 1st floor and above.

Quality breakfast with local and seasonal products. Special mention for delicious fruit salad and homemade madeleines. I recommend this small hotel. We have been traveling around Europe for several weeks and this was by far the most disappointing hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the receptionist who seemed to take an immediate disliking to us and made us feel very unwelcome. My 82-year old husband had to carry two big suitcases up the narrow stairs. Thankfully, the receptionist did change our room to a lower floor so he didn’t have to carry the luggage up any more stairs. The room was clean, but very cold. Heat did come on later in the night. Thank you. Breakfast was excellent, the other receptionist was warm, welcoming and kind, so she helped to make our stay a little more pleasant. But the room was so tiny, we couldn’t sit on the toilet without banging out knees on the shelf’s under the sink. No bedside tables. We never got refills on coffee. Overall we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable there. . The first receptionist’s continuing inexplicable hostility and inhospitality towards us made it so unpleasant that we left St. Malo feeling extremely disappointed. We had been looking forward to this part of our trip, it had been a dream of my husband’s to see St Malo before he died, and I am very sad that we both felt so unwelcome.

Tiffany and David were fantastic. The room was very nice and quite big. Nice bathroom . We didn't have breakfast but we saw the buffet laid out and it looked superb, so next time we will . We enjoyed our stay, we had a wonderful time. The Beds were very comfortable we slept well

It is a small, friendly, hotel in a good location. The room, however, was fairly small and the noise from people moving overhead was enough to disturb sleep. St Malo is an expensive city but the value of the hotel was reasonable.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay. The welcome (and the goodbye) was perfect (thank you Tiphaine!). Room 17 on the 2nd floor facing the Remparts and the sea was really great! The room was also very clean (thanks also to the extreme kindness of the cleaning ladies) and perfectly equipped (coffee and tea tray, safe, duvet and extra pillows, hair dryer, toiletries). We also slept too well. Here, it's obvious, we care about delighting our customers. Finally, the location of the hotel within the city walls and at the foot of Bon Secours beach is just perfect! It was our 2nd stay in this charming and typical hotel, and we will be back!

Fabulous location. No car park, so be prepared to add approx 25 Euros for an overnight stay. Breakfast is in the building opposite the hotel. We declined as that would also have been an additional 25 Euros for 2 people.
My room with sea view was perfect for me. I could open the windows for fresh sea air and close the shutters for a good night’s sleep.
Easy walk, if not raining, from ferry terminal and to train station. 1 minute to the beach and cafes, shopping etc.

We had a great stay. Our room overlooking the water was wonderful. The owners were very accommodating and helped us a lot in getting a taxi to the port on time. Everyone was very friendly, we felt very comfortable and would come back at any time.

The hotel is perfectly located, right by the beach of wonderful Saint Malo, and within short walking distance of many great shops and restaurants in Saint Malo Intra Muros. The staff were really helpful and nice and always ready to help with advice and other things. They lent me a beach towel, booked a taxi for me and carried my big suitcase up and down the stairs.
The downsides were 1. the location of the room, with a window into which all people walking past on the ramparts could look (so I kept the shutters down most of the time); 2. very tight shower space, i.e. not a lot of space for getting into and out of the shower; 3. the handsoap by the sink ran out and the maid didn't look to fill it up on time, so I had to use the soap in the shower on my last evening and morning; 4. the breakfast, although with some nice things, good croissants and so on, didn't have a great selection, much of it being carbohydrates, not a lot of fruit or other things beside bread, pastry and the like.

Nice location inside walled city. Clean and very comfortable. Because it faced the sea there was noise from kids playing in the water and from people walking along the ramparts but the windows shut out most of the sound. I was on foot and it was less than a half hour walk from the train station..
Functional, everything available, great beds, we will book a longer vacation there.

Nice hotel, but no elevator - stairs were narrow and could be dangerous with luggage. No good for anyone with mobility issues. Also the toilet was in a cupboard next to the bed with no ventilation.

A lovely hotel, I had a very nice stay. The staff were welcoming and very kind.
A nice room, though small, it was well laid out with kettle and tea/ coffee. The shower worked well in the morning and the bed was comfortable. I liked the reading lights with built in phone charger and little shelf. Storage was reasonable for size of room. Room was clean and tidy.
