Good hotel and top-notch catering
Hotel in the line of logis The dinner was of good quality with a generous choice
Friendly welcome, hostel with spacious rooms, free parking in the courtyard, excellent breakfast.
Simple and well-kept hotel with swimming pool. Comfortable and clean room with a very large bed. No-frills menu with well-made dishes. Very generous buffet breakfast for a very low price. Ideal hotel for a stopover in Allier with very good value for money.
Ideal location to visit Vichy 7km away in direct line. Although the decoration is not up to date standards the hotel is very clean and the room was spacious and quiet Very good value for money. We also had a very good dinner. We did not take advantage of the swimming pool taken by the visits of Vichy but it is a plus. Overall very satisfied

Choose this hotel based on having a pool but when we arrived at the time hotels.com said we could the hotel was closed. We could not check in until 17.30.
The hotel is very dated and in need of refurbishment. Family room was not big enough and mezzanine accessed by stairs that would not meet safety standards in the UK.
Could not use the onsite restaurant as the owners were not prepared to meet dietary requirements of gluten free.
Very good value for money. Swimming pool welcome after long hours of driving. I did not try the restaurant but very good breakfast. The owners were very friendly. Only small downside, no elevator so not easy if big suitcases to go up 2 floors. But I will come back with pleasure if I return to the region.

We had a great time, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. Very nice home. Cleanliness at the RV. Really nice dinner... (An excellent pressed duck with foie gras as a starter and a mega dish of frogs, quality and very well cooked! Copious breakfast, complete buffet (pastries, fresh bread, coffee, fruit juice, cold meats , etc)... Perfect! In the end we have no regrets and we will return without hesitation if we return to the region!
Despite the rooms requiring updating, we had a good stay with a particular mention of the quality of the meals that were served: excellent quality dinner and copious and varied buffet breakfast.

The manager is unfriendly, the swimming pool is inaccessible so why is there one? It is impossible to eat à la carte and finally all the common areas of the hotel smell musty due to lack of sufficient ventilation! The only really positive point is the very good breakfast with very original jams.

The rooms are fine, nothing more. The hotel should mention that the pool is not working on their website, we would definitely have gone elsewhere if we had known. Only positive thing, the dinner.
Hotel interior and rooms clean and well presented. Meals of excellent quality. Lady on duty very helpful and welcoming. It’s just a shame after a long drive in June with warm sunshine the pool had not reopened after winter close down. The exterior could also be more welcoming by spending a small amount removing weeds and dead plants from plant pots at entrance. This together with a little attention to flaking paint around exterior entrance would give a much improved impression
