Check-ins are from 5:30 p.m. and check-outs are from 11 a.m.
Our reception and restaurant are closed Sunday evening and Monday evening.
Your reservation is guaranteed as soon as you have prepaid your stay (by check or cash) directly with the hotel or you have provided your bank card details when booking your stay (unless the bank details communicated are invalid). Communicating your bank card details to guarantee your hotel reservation does not allow payment for the nights reserved, but authorizes the hotelier to debit your account for the amount of the first night of the reserved stay in the event of non-payment. presentation if the hotel reservation has not been canceled in accordance with the cancellation conditions.
Reservation of event and/or promotional offers
These offers, available only on the website www.moulin-de-chalons.com, are price offers for which no accumulation, no cancellation, no modification and no refund are possible (including rooms and any additional services). Except otherwise mentioned in the specific conditions of the offer, prepayment of the entire stay and additional services is required to validate this reservation.
Reservation procedure
The reservation procedure is as follows:
1: search and choice of room and rate;
2: possible selection of additional services such as breakfast, except when the additional service is included in the price mentioned
3: checking the details of your reservation, its total price, the applicable sales conditions and any adjustments of your choice (room, price, additional service), then providing your customer's contact details;
4: entry of your bank card details, consultation and acceptance of the general conditions of sale, the conditions of sale of the reserved rate and validation of the reservation;
5 the Moulin de Chalons acknowledges receipt of the reservation by sending without delay an email summarizing the contract offer, the additional services reserved, the prices, the conditions of sale relating to the selected rate, accepted by the customer.
The price
Prices are indicated before and when booking rooms. They are per room for the number of people and the date selected.
Prices are confirmed to the customer in the amount inclusive of tax in euros and are only valid for the period indicated on the site.
Unless otherwise stated, additional services (breakfast, parking) are not included in the price.
Payment
Online payment is made by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, Carte Bleue) via a secure payment system. You will be asked for your bank card number, the cryptogram on the back of your card as well as its expiration date. Any payment which is irregular, ineffective, incomplete or fraudulent for a reason attributable to the customer will result in the cancellation of the reservation at the customer's expense, without prejudice to any civil or criminal action against him.
Once your reservation has been validated and the perfect online payment has been made, you will receive a detailed confirmation and a payment receipt for your stay to the email address you provided to us. The confirmation is deemed to represent the agreement of the parties.
When you leave the hotel, a summary invoice for the total amount of your stay, including the tourist tax due in addition (if applicable), will be given to you.
Visa Electron and Maestro bank cards are not accepted to guarantee a reservation, but can be accepted for payment at the hotel. Payment by e-credit card is not offered to you for the reservation and payment of your stay.
An invalid bank card automatically results in the cancellation of the reservation
Claims.
Any dispute must, to be taken into account, be sent by email to Management via our contact form within 8 days of your departure from the hotel under penalty of foreclosure. In the event of a dispute, the data stored in our information systems has probative force.
You must also take care during your stay to report any inconvenience in order to limit any possible harm.
Bank card guarantees are made by pre-authorization of direct debit.
For any stay greater than or equal to 3 nights or more than 3 rooms reserved, we will ask you for a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay, either by bank debit or by bank check.
Hotel stay
Unless expressly stated otherwise, room rentals are from 5:30 p.m. on the day the reservation begins to noon on the day the reservation ends.
Animals are not accepted at the Chalons mill.
In the event of deterioration or damage caused by customers, they will be directly liable.
All our rooms are non-smoking... and yes Le Moulin de Châlons wants to take care of your health and welcome you with the best smells! So any cigarette lit inside the Moulin de Châlons will be charged 100 euros to your bank card.
The guest accepts and undertakes to use the room reasonably and in accordance with its intended purpose. Also any behavior contrary to good morals and public order will lead the hotelier to ask you to leave the establishment without any compensation and or without any reimbursement if payment has already been made .
Le Moulin de Chalons offers free WIFI access. The customer undertakes not to use its computer resources for the purposes of reproduction, representation, making available or communication to the public of any property protected by copyright or neighboring rights without #146;authorization of the holders of these rights or in violation of their rights.
These general conditions are subject to French law subject to a mandatory protective provision.

Reservations of more than 4 rooms are subject to a group contract
Non-refundable your reservation is out of time for a free cancellation : Free cancellation up to 2 day(s) before the arrival date.
After this time, 100% of the reservation amount will be charged.
This same amount will be charged in case of no-show.
You wish to cancel or modify your reservation
You are reminded that, with regard to the provision of hosting services, in accordance with article L 121-21-8-12° of the Consumer Code, you do not have the right of withdrawal provided for in article L 121-21 of the Consumer Code.
Cancellation of a stay of one or two nights maximum: cancellation possible 24 hours before the day of arrival (before midday). Any late cancellation entails costs equivalent to one night of the stay. For any interruption of stay (two nights maximum), it is imperative that you notify the hotel before 11 a.m. so that the interruption of your stay is taken into account. No refund will be granted for this reason in the context of a reservation of an event and/or promotional offer.
Event and/or promotional offers may not be subject to any modification, cancellation or refund (whether for the amount of the stay or for additional services). In this case, it is mentioned in the specific conditions of the offer. For an interruption of stay of more than two nights, the entire stay will be considered as due (all services ordered at the time of booking, example: half-board, or breakfast, etc.) and must be paid for on the day of the interruption. . no additional compensation costs will be charged.
- Stay greater than or equal to 3 nights: payment of 100% of the amount of the stay including all the services ordered when booking, if the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the date of arrival or during the stay
-Stay greater than or equal to three nights canceled from the date of booking to the 3rd day before arrival: refund of the deposit paid, penalty retained: €50 administration fee
-Non-refundable deposit if the cancellation occurs less than 3 days before the date of arrival.

No show
In the event of a no-show (“no show”), any guaranteed reservation: payment of 100% of the total amount of the stay including all the services purchased during the reservation
The hotel reserves the right to cancel any reservation up to 7 days before the date of arrival without supporting documents and no compensation for damages can be claimed.
