I have stayed at this establishment twice and I plan to return for my next professional meetings. The only downside is that the television is not at all adapted to the size of the room. Too small, too bad...
Chegamos numa feriado, conquanto a cidade e o hotel estivessem bem vazios, a pessoa que nos recebeu foi muito atenciosa.
Superb welcome, very pleasant, warm and clean establishment, I will book for my next stay
hôtel et restaurant de grande qualité
Hotel Logis de la Tour, Libourne is a lovely quaint hotel overlooking the Dordogne. It's position along the river and on 300m walk to Place Abel Surchamp (the heart of the village) is unrivalled. River view rooms were an added bonus. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient, restaurant is good (but book early if arriving late), breakfast was adequate. Street parking on Quai Souchet could be found (is free overnight from 1900 and all weekend, also 1st 90 mins free if using the app). On our outbound overnight visit we used the secure garage 200m from the hotel, but felt the street secure enough to utilise on out inbound overnight. Libourne is so lovely, and the Hotel so nice, we had changed our return booking from Limoges to be able to have a good exploration of Libourne, and were not disappointed. Highlight was sunset drinks at chiringuito L'Embarcadere at the side of the river.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Nettes Personal, gutes Essen, schönes Zimmer und top Lage.
Room a little old but clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and good welcome
Very enjoyable stay in a great location. Lovely staff & excellent meal.
Great stay, great restaurant, staff also very friendly
Manon and Alexis are excellent hosts, and their staff most helpful. Dinner was especially good. The room was surprisingly quiet, in spite of giving out directly onto a street. Secure parking is available about two minutes' walk away, and booking is highly advisable, as spaces are at a premium in this part of town.
Book a room with a balcony, but it was not available as work was being done on these rooms, which was disappointing. Thought there were tea and coffee facilities in the toom, but there was not. There was a pair of pants left in the bathroom, from the previous guest, (i think?) which questions how efficient was the cleaning? Service in the restaurant at dinner was slow. A lot of items at breakfast were finished when we arrived at 9 am (rolls, pan au chocolate, etc) and were not replaced. However on a positive the staff in the hotel were very nice and helpful.
The hotel itself is quite nice located with its old tower on the banks of the Garonne, the downside is the town of Libourne. We thought it was prettier.
Superb welcome, very pleasant evening in a very friendly setting. I really recommend this place
BRUTAAAL !!!
We are not welcomed as a customer but as a number
I love this hotel! I have my favorite room there! Its large French windows overlook the Dordogne!
GOOD
We were well received. Thanks to the whole team
Very picturesque and charming hotel, attentive staff and very good advice with a very nice wine selection.
Very good cuisine. There was a group of around twenty or thirty people in a seminar who had a meeting in the restaurant room. There were several interventions / speeches during their progress, which I was able to benefit from; It didn't seem confidential or interesting and so I tried to ignore it, however I found it a little surprising in hindsight that no one from the group or the restaurant came to see me either for me. warn or to apologize. I would like to point out that this is not dramatic, it was not a team of alpha males who spoke horribly loudly and said vulgar and/or aggressive things. Just not professional.
heel goed restaurant.
hotel good value for money good food very kind and smiling staff (a small remark about car parking? we went during construction period)
The hotel is oldish and would need renovation (bathroom, beds, furniture). It was not very clean (sticky liquid on the side table) and the decoration is not modern at all.
The shower cubicle in the bathroom was not in order. Very nice room, very friendly staff
HOTEL AND RESTAURANT GOOD BUT breakfast taken at 9:00 a.m. and already no more croissants or chocolatines. and remains 3/4 of a baguette for 4 people (2 couples including us). When I asked I was told that the machine is new and that basically there will be no other extras!!! 11€ for a coffee and a piece of bread is a bit much... coffee!!!
Very quiet room. Nice old hotel. Small problem at breakfast: no more bread and pastries but the staff defrosted some bread and recooked some pastries but they were not cooked enough, and what's more the waitress said "you ate everything we hadn't planned , we had just taken out the account. Possibility of making fresh orange juice 👍👍.
A friendly welcome A large room, very quiet, with good bedding.
Very nice central Hotel
Very well run hotel with very professional staff (reception and dining rooms)
The hotel is quiet and the overall accommodation services are in line with the price range. Regarding the range, I recommend the restaurant which delivers a good value for money service. Finally, let us highlight the kindness of the staff, entirely dedicated to their customers. Yannick
Hotel a little expensive for what it offers and I was charged €68 more for smoking in the room yet there is no sign on the door or in the room prohibiting smoking, it's a bit harsh for a Christmas day!
Helpful smiling staff great room good food and wine good location would certainly stay again
The staff were great . We chose an annexe room , as we were staying with our cat . The room was very clean , quiet and functional.
Menu of the day @ 28 euros good value
room on the 2nd floor a little difficult for us!!!
Room and sanitary facilities not clean (spider webs, dirty skylight, hairs in the shower and on the tiles and broken shower scope)
Restaurant closed no reception and very noisy air conditioning
A well located hotel in Libourne with good bedding, a view of the river, a clean room. It would be necessary to review the shower because the one in our room had difficulty closing. The breakfast is brief. Friendly and kind staff.
Remarkable location. Very warm welcome and great comfort in a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the river. Only downside, a tiny TV screen!
Overall good service, the decor deserves a little refreshment (parquet baseboard in our room, shower door that closes badly) but nothing bad to do. We recommend this address and we will return there.
Great location top service spacious room.
Very friendly and helpful receptionists. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
Plan to arrive at off-peak hours to find a parking space
We chose to stay in Libourne this night because of the July 14th fireworks - and chose this hotel because of its proximity to the bridge where the display would take place. The fireworks were superb!
It was a very hot day when we arrived - and the late (5pm) check-in meant we were out in the heat for longer than we would have liked (other hotels have 4pm, and even 2pm, checkin-in times). But it did mean we appreciated the air-conditioning when we finally reached our room!
Very nice hotel pity that the TV does not work. The reception, the dinner are top.
Car Park secure
Décoration not our test
But clean and comfortable
Balcony with view on the river
Perfect situation
Kind people
Fairly basic hotel. Good restaurant, cheery staff. Room spacious but basic. Air con very noisy so slept with windows open. Noisy outside too.
Atypical hotel, but full of charm
To recommend. Very well located hotel
We found the reception closed on arrival (Sunday about 1200) though we had an email informing the reception would be open until 1400. The manager received our phone call & allowed us early check-in which was appreciated. It seemed strange to access the room from the night entry door but it is an old building - part of the tower, I think.
Just a small remark, the television screen is much too small for a room of this size
Everything is perfect
Very good restaurant, warm welcome
A great hotel the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was first class, I would definitely recommend this hotel 👍👍👍👍
Welcoming reception lovely room and exceptional restaurant. Food is recommended. Great location
A good experience for this beautiful hotel full of charm, ideally located and right in the center of Libourne. The managers are friendly and attentive to their customers. The spacious room and the bed is large with good bedding and the table at the restaurant is to be recommended.
A very well kept establishment and really professional staff
Pleasant setting, but the temperature is cool and it is difficult to heat the room even with the heating on all night.
