Beautiful establishment and excellent service
Sehr netter Empfang. Gute Küche in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Personal sehr zuvorkommend.
A very pleasant two-night stay with attentive staff.
Carole was an exceptional host and provided A+ service. From the time of arrival to the time of departure and the days between she was welcoming and hospitable. Vermont was wonderful with his cellar cave tour informing and answering all wine questions. The meals, drinks and wines were excellent.
Very well located hotel, quiet, very pleasant staff, great restaurant.
We really loved the Château. It was beautiful, the view from the room was outstanding and Carole, the woman behind the counter, was friendly and lovely! We really liked her and she made our stay even better. All the other people who work there were extremely friendly as wel.
This is my 3rd visit over many years...still love this hotel and the dinner is exceptional - as in fabulous! Welcome is warm, wines are wonderful, rooms are large and everything works! Highly recommend!
This hotel had the potential to be really good
However
1 the waiter was the rudest we have every encountered
2 the pool had no sunbeds
3 there was no proper shower
4 the bar closed before advertised time the barman turned off the music before advertised closing time and told us to
Take our drinks elsewhere
5 the menu was very limited
Very nice hotel, good reception, the only negative point is the background music in the restaurant room
This was fantastic - such a nice surprise and the highlight of our trip.
Overall good. Nice restaurant. Pool too cold to use beyond a quick dip.
Hermosa estadía en la campiña. Sin ruidos, con lujo y al lado de los viñedos.
Muy linda experiencia!
Nice to stay in a historical hotel between the vineyards
Very spacious, comfortable, clean room. The rest of the hotel is not well maintained (exterior, swimming pool, etc.)
Everything was absolutely faultless.
Excellent welcome and support from the staff. Very pleasant hotel restaurant
The cusions of bed must be more confortable
We had a lovely stay. The wines are define and organic, the food with local products is a must try and the people of the chateau are very kind.
Given the structure the expectations were higher, both for the hotel refurbishment level and the staff. I would rate it as average.
Great! To recommend! Very relaxing
A very gentle, peaceful welcome. A very quiet hotel and effective air conditioning. The visit to the property and the cellars is a treat. The quality restaurant, like the service, top of the range, I enjoyed it! In short, I was enchanted by my stay at the castle.
Beautiful rustic chateau 15mins from the town of St Emilion. Gorgeous surroundings, small but special pool and spectacular sunset. Rooms were nice and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, fruit, croissants, bread, cheese and eggs. Machine coffee. Dinner was fantastic, small menu of high end, quality food served outside under parasols in a quaint courtyard. Really great value for money. Kids loved the garden, swings and pool. Staff were very good with the kids. High chair and cot provided.
The hotel is poorly maintained. It looks like it is falling apart.
Would be nice to have a better shower in the bathroom. Holding it only is not fun. Breakfast was limited in choice vs the price more regional produce would be nice.
Very nice experience in the vineyards around Saint Emilion, calm, rest and landscapes
Great place with nice restaurant, bar and friendly staff
Accueil impeccable et extrême gentillesse du personnel. Endroit charmant et conforme a la description et aux photos.
Place in the middle of the vineyards which is very pleasant. Nice pool area but there were no deckchairs installed and only armchairs.
Lovely and intimate place
Warm welcome and great communication before my stay; Big thanks to everyone Highly recommend the visit of the vineyard and wine storage facilities with wine tasting The room was comfortable with a lovely view of the garden and vineyard Outdoor seating for was comfortable and available for meals Quiet and peaceful surroundings
A beautiful hotel surrounded by vinyards.
Nice room, great restaurant and a lovely pool.
Pleasant stopover, a beautiful residence and good quality catering
Very friendly staff. The place is very pretty and quiet, but the decoration and furniture are a little worn and outdated. Our room on the ground floor was sad and dark. For breakfast not a big choice. For tea lovers… only Lipton bags…
Nice room, excellent food, swimming pool could open a bit earlier than 10:00
Nice wine location and stylish appartment
We were made to feel very special. Lovely quiet location with comfy beds and excellent food.
Pleasant setting
Close, but no cigar. It is the details that let it down. Towels were old and tired. Toiletries meagre and corporate. The layout of breakfast (in a corridor) lacked imagination. The short (and frankly dull) menu meant there was no way we would choose to eat there twice. But the room, and the location were great. And so quiet. We are currently driving from Bilbao to Caen, and staying in lots of hotels. This so far is bottom of our list. Sadly.
Very nice overnight stay. Could have spent another night or two to explore the local vineyards.
Un bien bel hôtel bien situé au cœur de Saint-Émilion,
Excellent welcome and the staff takes great care. Spacious and bright room. The restaurant's menu offers a choice of 3 dishes and thus guarantees freshness. We feasted. The choice of products at breakfast could be a little wider. The canelés are delicious. We will return with pleasure.
Beautiful location in a chateau, super friendly and helpful staff throughout. Great food at he restaurant, would highly recommend and hope to return. Also an EV charger in the car park.
Beautiful setting. Great service. Great food. Peaceful and quiet.
Welcome and have a nice night at the Château! Beautiful residence, the rooms are quite large, clean. The bedding, of good size, is of good quality. The bathroom (with bathtub) is very functional and clean too. Good quality catering (even in the evening), very pleasant staff, good service. Varied breakfast (lack of quality cold meats). Very good wifi (for working).
Wonderful place
Top hotel, we are staying there for the second time. The staff is pleasant, the place is very beautiful, the value for money is excellent. Two small downsides to this stay, the pillows are too small (room 2) and it is noisier than on the floor which we loved during our previous stay
Great welcome, attentive and helpful staff.
Welcome, meals, establishment everything was perfect. THANK YOU
Beautiful wine estate Quiet Spacious room
Very nice establishment, incredible charm and great friendliness and availability of the staff
Spacious room, very good quality meals, book with your eyes closed
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was our second visit. Welcome was good. Room clean and spacious. Restaurant wasn’t open but they opened for us with a single choice menu. Meal was delicious served with their own wine which was also delicious. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
We found a very warm welcome, attentive staff, and superb surroundings.
Nice to spend a night at the Château! Beautiful residence, the rooms are quite large, clean. The bedding, of good size, is of good quality. The bathroom (with shower) is very functional and clean too. Good quality catering (even in the evening), very pleasant staff, good service. Varied breakfast.
Very pretty building, pleasant setting in the vineyards, nice for an evening stopover meal perhaps a little too heavy Paté plus duck confit plus brownie-style cake, perhaps bring carafes or half bottles of wine for single people and perhaps being a bit of cold meats for breakfast, these are still details
An aging room with a view of a pretty park that is unfortunately inaccessible
Perfect
Fantastic location, and fabulous food.
apparently, there is a new section and an old section of the hotel. Our room was in the old section the 12th century section. It was very quiet, but there was a spider that was at least 3 inches round on the wall that we had to take care of it was very damp and kind of smelly in the room. The bed was excellent for sleeping. The view was absolutely stunning and the staff was fabulous. The pool was small, but nice so if you stay in the newer side, you may have a different experience but I would make sure that you check.
Establishment full of charm, in a very beautiful region. Excellent services and a remarkable quality of welcome. Teams dedicated to customer comfort. A very good table completes the quality of this establishment. I would happily return to this hotel and highly recommend it.
Friendly and attentive reception. Nice ambience, room by the stairs, therefore quite noisy. Room ok, but bathroom not really clean Breakfast very good Restaurant not recommended
Overall we had a great stay here. The only criticism is that the hotel should maintain the front entry to the chateau a bit better - the lawn needed mowing, the path to the front needed weeding - only small things that would materially improve first impressions.
The restoration is very disappointing and does not conform to the description on the menu. The visit to the cellar costs €10 (more than €3 per barrel) and no one told us this, even when we received the invoice.
Everything was perfect 👍 I highly recommend this establishment. We will come back for sure! Thank you for everything.
Really great
Beautiful refined estate ideal for a beautiful getaway of tranquility or discovery of the famous wine region....We will return to rest in this beautiful castle. A beautiful address with very good value for money, perfect for a couple's getaway.
A very good time shared with all my family in this beautiful place. Good restaurant (delicious and plentiful dishes), beautiful setting and the swimming pool was very popular with everyone.
Superb stay at Château Fleur de Roques. Everything was perfect from arrival to departure. The setting is very beautiful, special mention to the excellent dinner and the very welcome swimming pool in these high temperatures.
Lovely hotel and great food.
The towels smell very bad and are dirty. The bedding is not of good quality. The bathroom furniture is damaged and very cheap
Extremely disappointing breakfast. No charcuterie. Reconstituted scrambled eggs. Home reduced to its simplest expression. Paid bath sheets!!!
First the good points-quiet,relaxing setting and nice wine. Beds are comfortable too
However, this is a hotel which gives the impression of being in need of serious investment-showers are very basic, toilet very dated, we had to find towels on arrival. Worst of all is the food- our starters and desserts were pre-prepared so no problem but our main course was prepared by someone who couldn’t cook. Service at dinner was slow and erratic. The pool was nice but total cost for the night makes it poor value for money. On checking out, we did receive 14 euros each discount on dinner but we would have preferred a better dinner.
Magnificent site and building Very good bedding Welcome departure reception easy and fast Full breakfast Very pleasant experience
very nice hotel. beautiful place.ideal for a relaxing holiday
They could certainly do with upgrading the towels - so thin they were not much use for drying oneself.
Beautiful location in the St Emilion region and a beautifully converted manoir. Their in-house food was excellent but the menu was a little limited.
In the restaurant, they gave me another Fish than the one I asked for. That was a pity. Nevertheless, the dist I got was very good.
The chateau is beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful. We wished we were staying longer.
Lugar mágico!!
Very nice place in the old cellars of a castle, friendly and dedicated staff. A very good stay
The most wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. Everything was spotless and all the staff were so helpful. We had one dinner and it was delicious. The pool is lovely and very refreshing.
Very nice establishment, friendly staff, very clean, very good value for money.
Welcome on arrival in this beautiful house, quiet. Hotel more suitable for tourist stays than for work. Clean and pleasant room, keeping the old character of the house, but no real office to work in and few electrical outlets available to recharge our various equipment. Quality bedding. Clean bathroom with bathtub: a hook is missing to hang the shower head in the high position. Restaurant of good quality (even in the evening stopover), with excellent service. Simple buffet breakfast. Sufficient wifi for working. Very good stopover in this hotel in which I always come back with pleasure.
A haven of peace lost in the middle of the vineyards a few minutes from the very crowded St Emilion. For lovers of old stones; renovated with lots of charm. A nice breakfast in the vaulted rooms or on the terrace. A very friendly welcome. As for the restaurant, the quality / price ratio is not at the top.
Wonderful experience in the middle of vineyards. Super in every way. Lovely staff.
Perfect
It just lacks a shower head in the upper part
