Logis Hôtel le Relais Saint Michel

3 persoons kamer, airco maakte iedere 5 minuten een hard krakend geluid. Kon 1 raam open omdat voor de andere geen hor zat, maar door geluid van constant voorbij rijdende treinen en vrachtwagens was dit ook geen optie met 37 graden overdag en een erg warme nacht. Kamer zat vol met muggen.
Badkamer was in orde maar niet schoon, lag haar op de grond en er zaten spetters tandpasta op de spiegel.
Gegeten in het restaurant. Om 19u gereserveerd en ter plaatse. Wij waren de eerste in het restaurant. Echter iedereen die na ons kwam werd geholpen. Wij kregen na 1,5 uur een voorgerecht. Menu was duur, erg kleine porties. Onze zoon van zes heeft 1,5 uur op zijn eten gewacht, waarna het stukje kipfilet met wat groente flink gepeperd op tafel kwam. In de nacht ziek geworden van (waarschijnlijk) het eten.
Eigenlijk het enige wat in orde was, wat dat het extra bed wel lekker lag. Tweepersoonsbed was erg hard. Een verschrikkelijke nachts gehad op doorreis vanuit het zuiden naar huis.
Wij komen hier nooit meer terug en raden het iedereen af, weggegooid geld.

Schitterend hotel met een keuken met sterrenwaarde. Super lekker en mooi gepresenteerd. Heel flexibel personeel. Mijn ochtendlijk baantjes zwemmen in het zwembad was voor hen geen probleem. Kamer met badkamer zeer mooi en net. Goede bedden, rustig, heerlijke douche. Fijne mensen.

After staying there for 5 nights. Human and pleasant staff. All of them. Whether it's the excellent cooks, waiters, or chambermaids. The rooms are clean. The meal: the 39 euro menus are excellent and bold. A mix of cuisine sometimes with an Asian touch in good French gastronomy. The desserts: I've never seen such boldness in the mouth. Flavors never associated and surprising. Bravo to the pastry chef. The waitresses are friendly and kind. The pool is pleasant to swim in. The environment is great! In the greenery and next to a medieval town like Langres. Possibility of cycling around the lakes in the region and observing black swans. You have to dig to the national forest park and see its marshes. After a beautiful visit, a little massage is a must at the hotel. I never thought I would experience such a massage by a person expert in different types of massages, with magic hands. Gwen is passionate and knows the acupressure points. The breakfast is very varied, perhaps there is a cheese missing to spread on the bread. Excellent jams made by a grandmother who has her own fruit trees. Everything is local and fresh. My husband and I had a green and peaceful stay. The parking is so practical and accessible to people with mobility difficulties. Even access to the reception is designed for people with mobility difficulties. I wanted to point this out since I worked in this field. Outdoor games for children would be welcome in the future. Hotel/restaurant well located to split our journey from the South of France to the Netherlands in two. Clean hotel, a little noisy on the terrace because it is "on the edge" of the road, but large private parking, beautiful swimming pool and good overall (at this price level) Excellent food and very pleasant service. The choice of products is of very good quality. The restaurant is "worth the detour"... On the other hand, Wi-Fi is unavailable in our room above the restaurant. Perhaps a bad connection somewhere?

First of all the room is small, simple with an air conditioner above the bed (never place an air conditioner above the bed)

We stayed here last year while the renovations were in progress. It's in a nice location, very rural but near the road. We were excited by the new room, they've done a really good job. The only problem was the air conditioning set to switch off after 20 minutes (it was 37 that day). We remembered the food fondly from last year but there have been changes, I suppose, and our meal wasn't great. Nice breakfast though.

Hotel accommodations in line with our expectations, non-existent welcome, in the middle of the afternoon! Superb room, practically unwatchable TV, bathroom heating, impossible to turn on, except by lying down on the floor, to operate the keyboard.... breakfast leaves us with a feeling of deprivation, compared to what we are used to at the big ACCOR chains.

Beautiful fully renovated hotel, ideally located for transit from north to south or vice versa. Professional and customer-friendly reception, very comfortable room including well-functioning air conditioning. Excellent kitchen for dinner and full breakfast, much better and more extensive than the average French hotel

We had a very nice stay in Saint Michel. Friendly people, nice room, nice and quiet around the hotel. Easy to come there from the A31. And the Good was also very good.
We like to come here again.

Very nice hotel in a quiet location amongst fields and small hamlets. The hotel has had some recent renovations and was really nice and comfortable. The room was extremely clean and well appointed. Staff/owners were all friendly and helpful. It was also easy to use a Logis voucher.
Easy to access from the motorway, with a large car park. We would hope to stay again when we next pass through the area.

Cold room, paper glases in room, very old towels, no toster in the breckfast cold eggs, and bacon , no international tv,the only good thing was the lady Catherine in reception the rest of the staff was rude beyond believe ask for two glasses of wine and said NO no even sorry after serving the glases with z face like she wantef to kill us send us to drink the wine in the reception freezing cold horrible person

Very decent hotel with unbeatable value for money! The staff we met were efficient and friendly! Note that the WiFi was a bit weak in room 12 (only 1 strip with cuts sometimes) and 3 TV channels were not picked up due to the weak signal (2 RMC and Equipe channel)

Point of improvement on the meal for the Evening Stopover formula: on both evenings, the two meals were identical.

A place to remember, quiet, large parking lot.

We selected this hotel via the 'Guide Europe 2024' as a stopover during our return trip to Belgium, among other things not too far from the travel route. The accessibility is fine and there is a spacious parking lot. There was a good and smooth reception. It is a pity that the complex is a bit too far away from the lake in Villegusien to be able to explore it on foot from here. The hotel is currently being restored. Our room and bathroom were already completely renovated, nicely decorated and in perfect order. It is a great pity that the choice of the menu in the restaurant is extremely limited: only 2 starters, 2 main courses and 2 desserts, but the preparation of our choice was perfect and nicely presented. The breakfast buffet was not very extensive but certainly sufficient. The hotel is therefore a relatively good choice as a stopover but less so as a restaurant given the very limited choice of dishes.

We have stayed twice at this hotel. Once in one of the more expensive rooms and once in one of the cheaper rooms. Both rooms were clean and nicely furnished. As you could expect, the more expensive room was bigger and the bathroom/shower had been modernize, while the bathroom in the cheaper room was smaller and the facilities were adequate but a little dated. We intend to stay at this hotel again!

We have stayed many times at this hotel just felt the room was very tired blocked bathroom basin with obviously wasn’t a new problem.
Breakfast coffee was very weak before it had been very good no eggs offered this time either.
WiFi kept cutting off.

I have stayed here many times. Rooms are clean and loads of hot water for a shower. Restaurant is excellent in the evenings as is breakfast. The new accommodation block is even better with larger rooms, better bathroom facilities and aircon!

The restaurant was excellent. The hotel rooms are partly renovated. We stayed in the part that is not yet ready. Renovation wants completed next year. When this is done it is an overall great hotel.

As the establishment is currently being renovated, we stayed in the old part of which the work has not yet been done. Ultimately, having already been able to see a room already renovated in the first part of the building, it will be a beautiful establishment with all the comfort now sought by customers.

De family (nr 28) die wij hadden is in een oude gang. Aan het begin zit een lichtknopje maar niet naast de kamerdeur dus de kamer uit, loop je en een donkere gang. Bedden waren prima, beddengoed was goed. The bathroom was also in danger: the floor plates, damaged water, shower heads hang in the bad place where you shower, or you may have left the stokoude radiator. Dit is allemaal echt aan vervanging toe. Ontbijt was goed (met hele lekkere croissants en perfecte jam), avondeten in the restaurant here. It's not too bad for kids to grow up and it's easy to get to the car. Prijs-kwaliteit al met al een zeven.

The rooms were just renovated, so they were modern, beautiful and clean.
There was a swimming-pool, so we were glad to take a dive into it after our 6 hours trip to get there.

The restaurant had a terrace, it was very nice to dine outside and see the sun getting down.

hotel word gerenoveerd , dit is zeer postief ! oude kamer zijn zeer gedateerd , maar de nieuwe zien er perfect uit. de demaes doen zeer hun best om het het hotel met alles erom heen goed aan te pakken .
zoals het er nu uit ziet, gaat dit zeker lukken , met nu wat ongemak tijdens de renovatie.
eten in het restaurat was zeer goed, wij hebben genoten.
komen hier zeker terug, ik wil zien wat ze ervan maken, zijn over drie maanden terug om het vervolg te zien.

It's in a very good location for a stopover and although our room was a little tired, the food and service were both excellent.

It has been under renovation for a year now, but the rooms they offer for the price are disastrous. No water from sink and shower tap broken and absolutely not clean.

We chose the Relais St Michel for - the location of the hotel - the reputation of Logis Hôtels - the fact that the hotel offers catering in the evening upon arrival during our visit. Note that the St Michel relay is under construction for renovation. We chose the old rooms side, which explains our rating concerning the room and the bathroom which remain correct. We were offered the new rooms, much more modern, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It will be for next time . We also appreciated the welcome and kindness of the owners and their staff. Thanks to them. There is no doubt that we will stop there again for a night during our passage to the South and/or our return to the North.

Although the hotel is renovating, the rooms we stayed in were old and outdated with poor facilities.
The fact that the receptionist direct on arrival told us “the restaurant is full” with no flexibility at all to offer a meal (not even in the lobby or in the hotel room), is a lack of service and hospitality.

Old and small rooms

Hotel wordt gerenoveerd. Daardoor modderig, rommelig in ongezellige ambiance. Veel achterstallig onderhoud in eleven chambers. Douchekop kon neet opgehangen wordsen, kitranden lekten waardoor na het douchen een een large plas water in eleven chambers, maar 1 stopcontact beschikbaar enz. The last time it was frozen and yesterday it was all ok. The restaurant has its first menu's, which we have already ordered.

De kamers waren erg klein en met name de badkamer was in erg beroerde toestand: slechte hygiëne-erg klein-nauwelijks water uit de kraan ( veel te weinig druk)

Hotel in transformation which means that the current rooms are small and relatively simple but the price was adapted to this situation. The restaurant, on the contrary, was very good with charm and a well-developed and very good menu, as well as the recommended wine accompanying the dishes well. Very friendly staff like the setting.

Hello, I spent one night at the hotel where I found a dilapidated and dirty room. Blood or wine on the duvet cover that is turned inside out. Holes in the mattress cover, curtains. Dust in a mess under the bed, the Vmc, the heating...ect. bathroom lighting that works half-way. I am allergic to dust mites and when I woke up I had a lot of pimples on my body. I reported all this with a supporting photo to the person at reception who replied ''I'm only temporary, I can't do anything. The boss is traveling and will call you back. No returns at this time.

Very accessible location, friendly staff and superb evening meal. A dip in their large outdoor pool was welcome after a long hot drive from Provence I would stay here again.

Only one small negative point to note: the shower room and toilet did not work properly. But the establishment is under renovation and we will return there again.

The hotel is under renovation. Still a strong smell could be experienced in the hall and the rooms. Even though non smoking still tobacco could be smelled.
The food in the restaurant is great. Pitty they closed the pool at arrival time 4 pm?

The room was adequate but no coffee making facilities...
The toilet was faulty and didn't flush in the night. There was no air con but we were kindly given an electric fan on request.
The restaurant food was very good but not much choice for a vegetarian. The breakfast had no fat free yogurts or fromage frais. Or fresh fruit..the choice of food was limited..I would have been happy to pay more for a more healthy breakfast.
