A family business run by brothers Josu and Gaizka Goikoetxea Larrauri, Hotel Nafarrola was born of their passion and love for the region. Their vision was to create a thoughtful, sustainable and unrivalled retreat that allows guests to disconnect from their daily lives and surrender to the natural beauty of their surroundings. Overlooking the sea, but surrounded by mountains and nature, its rustic, minimalist interior combines perfectly with nature, a fusion of history and modernity. The rooms are spacious with Jacuzzi, king size bed .... In addition, guests will receive a welcome kit of sustainable hygiene products on arrival.
The hotel is located just outside the picturesque town of Bermeo, in an area also known as the 'Garden of Bilbao'. Guests at Hotel Nafarrola wake up in the heart of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, a haven of biodiversity with enchanting wetlands, craggy cliffs, mystical caves and windswept beaches, including the famous surf spot of Mundaka. Nearby is the iconic islet of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, while the vibrant cultural tapestry and culinary delights of Bilbao are just a short drive away.
